Jeb Bush has said that Donald Trump is not a serious person or serious candidate - that he intentionally says outlandish things that even he doesn't believe in order to manipulate the media. Do you agree with Bush?

It's so obvious that even a Bush gets it.

I don't think he believes what he says. He can't. He is making it ok for scary people who do believe things to come out. Violence has gone up. I've never seen violence like that in a presidential race. It's like David Duke is running.

Trump will stop running when he start losing 💰 money on some of his businesses over seas.

Negative publicity is still publicity

When I heard that former Gov. Jesse Ventura & Trump are friends the idea that Trump is grandstanding for the sake of attention alone went out the window. Ron Paul & Ross Perot were not afraid to speak their minds either but look where that got them.

The problem that the inside the beltway republicans are having is, he is financing his own campaign. Doing this will not allow the lobbyist and businesses to get into is pockets, therefore he can't be controlled.

He's not at all financing his own campaign. Look it up.

I do agree with him but... To dismiss Trump as someone who isn't going to make a difference or not as a threat to his party is just silly. By silly I mean stupid.

Trump proves how gullible right wingers are of their media. Right wing media convinced them he's a qualified, serious candidate. Right wing media also convinced them Romney was going to win, climate change isn't real, trickle down economics works, Iraq war was justified... ect ect

Malekithe This does not compute
12/12/15 5:48 am

Trump is as qualified as he needs to.
Romney ran a horrible campaign because he was gutless.
Climate change is real, just not a gloom and doom threat.
Trickle down economics can work.
Iraq war was a huge blunder.
ect is abbreviated as etc.

Whatever Donald Trump provides the media is far better than the RINOs Bush spits out of his liberal mouth. Old Jeb is just another so-called conservative that grabs his ankles and hands the Democrats the lube. He has failed to stand up for conservative principles.

12/11/15 3:16 pm

Yet Trump has more than 10 times the support that Jeb has, and has destroyed Jeb's entire campaign.
Face it Jeb, you got cucked.

The media (luegenpresse, more like) has been trying desperately to get rid of Trump since day 1. Yet all he has done is gain more and more support. Do people honestly believe Trump isn't 100% serious about making America great again? Lol

That sounds a lot like Jeb Bush, himself clearly not a serious candidate, intentionally saying an outlandish thing hoping to manipulate the media. But all it does is come across as being even more whiney than his usual self.

Again, I didn't say he's an idiot. However he is not smart enough to do this and not actually believe any of it. He doesn't have the discipline for it.

Haha! That's laughable. The man is intelligent.

12/11/15 3:08 pm

Trump knows exactly what he's doing. I think he's the only candidate running who has actually read Sun Tzu's "the Art of War".

12/11/15 11:56 am

Donald Trump is a political genius. If Trump is the nominee, I do believe he could beat Hillary. How? He can simply handle and control the media. Now, if you want to actually talk about policy, I do not agree with Trump on everything. However, I usually agree with him over his most controversial statements.

kscott516 Revelation 5 6
12/11/15 12:29 pm

When it comes down to two realistic candidates, you won't have to agree with all of Trump's policies. You just have to decide whether he is better than Hillary. That's a resounding YES!!!

Anyone who's listened to the Rush Limbaugh show knows his intentional "media tweak of the day". I think Trump employs a similar tactic.

I understand how his outspoken nature can be refreshing. I understand that Obama specifically avoiding saying certain sentences to not offend someone can get annoying as he's Commander in Chief, and trump's nonchalant nature surrounding the media's opinion of him is a nice change for once. And as a registered independent, I like how he doesn't align himself will all views of a particular political party. But i can't take him seriously as a president. Bringing up George Washington may be platitudinous as an American, but I think the humility he had is a very important aspect of a president. I can't trust trump to save the United States over his own ass. I think his ability to troll with the media and piss people off has become an obsession, and his comebacks sound like insults from the mouth of a prepubescent kid who just discovered Reddit. Being POTUS involves maturity and humility, and insults that don't involve calling someone a "loser" or bringing up periods.

Not at all. Trump is just an idiot when it comes to being a mainstream politician.

I'm not sure if Trump is a serious candidate but he is a serious person. He is also a serious narcissist. He wants as much attention as he can get. He brands himself. He brands his opponents. He brands the media and he brands the American public.
