TODAY IN HISTORY: Dec. 11, 1844 - Dr. Horace Wells became the first person to have a tooth extracted after receiving an anesthetic for the dental procedure. Nitrous Oxide, or laughing gas, was the anesthetic.  Have you had your Wisdom teeth pulled?

Yes and laughing gas is amazing lol. When my oral surgeon was done, he hugged me. Said I was the funniest patient he'd ever had and I was a 'delight'. Apparently I'm hilarious high lol

All of them. I loved it! I used the Vicodin to self-medicate my depression (causes euphoria) and had an excuse to drink (protein) milkshakes all day. Never felt pain or loopy. Laid around watching movies. It was great.

This really surprised me since my dad was a dentist who used nitrous oxide to calm patients down, but not as an anesthetic. I looked it up. The story is very interesting.

I had mine surgically removed, actually. They knocked me out and cut them out of my head. That was back in high school.
