Have you always had friends?
No. And sometimes (all of the tone) I wonder how I have any.
The older I get, the less friends I have. I'm not married, don't have any kids, so my peer group is shrinking.
Same here. No kids, divorced & 40.
@HopefulChaos - I have noticed that often you don't answer your own polls. Why is that?
I do for the ones I have a good answer to.
We've moved a lot of times and had to leave a lot of friends behind. With my husband so sick, it would be very hard on him to have people over. So, most friends are long distance friends now.
My mom is here and she's my best friend.
Treasure her. I miss Mom, because she was also my best friend.
Yep, I treasure her. My grandmother always said that when you lose your mother, you've lost your best friend. I know our time is getting shorter because Mom is 91. She's still herself so far and in really good health. I'm very lucky to have her now. I've lost my brothers and my father, and I have no children. She's the only one left of our original family besides me.
I was 33 when I lost Mom. You are indeed blessed!
Not completely. I've had friends since I was born. I am rather charismatic.. however, I've found myself in situations where I've felt completely alone, as some weren't close anymore.
Basically, yeah, though not always close friends.
Yes & no - I have always been well-liked & had people who told me I was their friend. I have not always trusted said people & considered them a friend.
No, I went through a period where I was being abused at home and wasn't socializing well. Then I moved three times, to different states.
I could use some more.
I'll be your friend 😀
Yay, friends forever 🤗
What emoji is that I can't see it 😢
It's a happy face with jazz hands. 😊
I knew we'd be friends because of our love for custard.
Now you're making me hungry for custard
I really want an eggnog shake!
Noooooooooooo stooooooppppppp I'm at home already and culvers is 30 miles away
Don't forget this guy.
That is torture! And I won't forget, sports buddies for life. 🤓
It would be hard to forget you
Love you two guys, someday we'll convene in SoCal🙃😎
No you should come to Illinois or Wisconsin
Pedwin, we can road trip. You might be on my way. 👌🏾✌🏻️👍
Oh good point
And I've always wanted to take a road trip to the west coast
We'll talk details when y'all are ready. 🌴☀️🌴☀️🌴☀️🌴☀️🌴☀️🌴☀️🌴☀️🌴☀️🌴☀️🌴☀️
But if you do come here, we will hang with you. 👍
Of course we will 😀
We could be the three best friends that anyone could have. 😂😀
However we do it, it's gonna be a party!!
We're going to "party like it's 1699"
Hahaha I love it! We'll get some funny looks out here, but who cares!😎😎😎
Of course, that's the only way to do it!
You guys did get the reference to weird al right?
Lol yep, Amish paradise. I love the original Prince song. Did you get my hangover reference?
I couldn't remember what it was from but i knew it sounded familiar
Duh, I did now that you reminded me!!🙃🙃😂
It just hit me that the three of us kind of make me think of the cast of New Girl lol!!
Lol you gotta tell us who we are!
I've never seen it. What is it about
Lol, I think you've got the lead, but time will tell how our roles evolve!! I've still only seen about six episodes!😂
Pedwin, you'll see what I mean right away when you watch it!
It's a show on fox. It's about a girl who moves in with 3-4 guys. It's funny.
I'm not gonna lie, after a few seasons, Winston is my boy.
Oops, I see where there could be some confusion there... obviously, Annie's the title character.
I saw the school dance episode today. Hilarious!
Haha love it. I love the pilot though. Schmidt goes, "you got some Schmidt on your face"
I know I haven't seen enough to come to any conclusions, but Schmidt seems kind of like the head douche! Everybody else is pretty likeable. Winston might be as close to normal as any of them (so far, anyway). True or not?
Schmidt is definitely hilarious and lovable! Coach comes back and is hilarious. Winston rocks. They all make Nick funnier. The second season or third kind of lags, but the last season was better. I love Cece, too.
Not sure what season I'm watching (whatever TBS is showing during the day), but I'll press on, like with PY. Not impressed so far with how Nick is working their relationship. I'm curious how that turns out...
The whole relationship arc was actually my least favorite part of the whole show thus far. PY is a gift though! 😎
Sorry guys i was really tired last night and fell asleep
No problem - same here. I could barely pry my eyes open to click the last "like" lol.
Hahaha I just passed out after my comment.
See what I mean? Read the last 3 comments, and tell me that's not right from the show.😂😂😂
Now I'm going to have to check that show of
Lol perfect, it's a funny show with funny people. That's us 🙈🙊
I did until I graduated high school. I got married. My friends went away to college. I never really made friends as an adult. I met people that tried to use me and then got upset when I started saying no. After a couple times of that, I decided friends aren't worth the effort. I have my husband and our critters. That's enough for me.
Same here. A neighbor needed help to get around & I took her everywhere daily but she never offered a dime even when gas was close to $5 a gallon. We got into a spat & since then she hasn't bothered with me.
I typically get used as a babysitter.
Very much a loner most my life...
