Do you delete most of your personal email after reading it, or do you let most of it accumulate in case you might need it again in the future?
Hillary, is that you?
Need it to be out of the way. Delete
I don't delete them, but it's because I'm lazy not because I want to save them
I let them build up, then when I hit 30,000 and am about to be investigated, I delete them all.
It's all junk. Unless it's something I want, it's off to cyberspace with ya
Actually I archive to Evernote and then delete.
I save them but only because I'm to lazy to delete them and I don't really care.
I delete everything. I clear my texts and phone log every night, too. My mild OCD strikes again!
I'd love a small "infection" of that! I simply get overwhelmed with it all! I keep re,ovine myself from mailing lists but it seems like the tsunami never stalls.
Save entirely too much!
I'd like to thank you for this poll! It motivated me to spend quite a while clearing out a *ton* of old email that there was *no* legitimate reason to have clogging up my inbox!
Save it in subfolders by subject, archive everything over a year old once a year around the first of the year.
Gmails unlimited space makes deleting pointless
I only delete the incriminating ones.
Can't stand a messy inbox
I'm a deleter.
I don't read 90% of my personal email as it is. Most of it is junk.
I have thousands of old emails saved. For what? Literally nothing. Maybe I'll need the login info for a website I signed up on in 2004? Who knows.
I don't think I've ever deleted an email now that I think about it
If it's not important it's going in the trash, so I can easily find the important ones that I keep.
I hardly ever delete email
Gmail's archive button. I can then search the history, but it doesn't clog up the inbox.
I hardly even check my email but when i do i see thousands of spam mail. I do not need a bigger penis..I'm fine thank you!!
I "Delete" most emails almost immediately, but I empty my Trash only about once-a-month. There is one exception to my 'Trash rule', and those emails get moved into my Archive folder.😊
Retain but rarely reference
I only save what needs to be saved all the rest gets deleted.
Delete some save some.
I usually delete personal email but I save work related stuff. I once had a supervisor who would send me and my coworkers email then claim he said something else. One year on the 3rd of July he was giving instructions on what we were to do on the 4th, claimed he had notified us weeks in advance that we would be working the holiday weekend. Fortunately the saved email saved us but put him in a huge jam as we all made plans to be away w our family. Nobody was available to work!
