I looked into it, but the cost & upkeep of a plane that's capable of trans-Pacific travel is pretty high.

I was forced to. My mom was fed up with me so she made me live with my dad and his wife and kids for 4 months. I barely knew them. I haven't seen my dad in years, and I didn't really want a relationship with him. All in all, certainly wasn't a vacation.
