TODAY IN HISTORY: Dec. 10, 1817 - Mississippi was admitted to the Union as the 20th American state. Have you ever vacationed in Mississippi?
Theres vacation spots in Mississippi?
A few days on Biloxi before the hurricane. Don't think the beach hotel we stayed at is still there.
Ugly peoples in ole miss. And they all stink
I haven't vacationed there, but I did stay overnight during a road trip. It was a very nice Best Western in a suburb of Jackson. With a pretty decent Thai restaurant down the road.
I'm trying to think of where I would vacation there… coming up empty.
You inspired my latest poll.
Huge gulf coast coast casinos. Vicksburg National Military Park. Antebellum homes/B&B's, and spring pilgrimage in Natchez. The Natchez Trace Parkway. Automobile museum & home of Elvis Presley in Tupelo. Morgan Freeman's Ground Zero blues club in Clarksdale. Stennis space center near New Orleans. Coming soon...national civil rights museum in Jackson and the Grammy Museum in Cleveland.

I wouldn't say that I've "vacationed" there. My family and I went to the Stennis space center, but we stayed in LA. We had a lot of fun!
