If you were invited to attend a worship service at the local mosque, would you accept?
I would go one time -- out of curiosity.
abrahamic religions are always interesting to me. As a Christian, my purpose would be to love them and share my faith with them. I try to make it so that I can relate to the person, and be able to understand how they view the world and why they view it that way. I've found studying and learning the different beliefs helps me greatly. Once I understand the person, the how and why they are who they are, it's easier to present my faith in a way they understand and can grasp. I'd say yes just to open the "religion door" in our relationship
I've been invited in the past, and I gladly attended. One major problem with the world is that people fail to seek an understanding of those that differ in belief, and thus, you have senseless violence, blind hatred and a human potential that has been snubbed out.
No but not because it's a mosque or anything I'm just not religious and it's not my thing
Already done it. Would definitely do it again.
Better than the Westboro church
Are you sure, and wouldn't it perhaps depend on which mosque?
And yes, I understand you were just going for the smear.
I've been before, both in a nearby city and while traveling. It's always an interesting experience is gladly do again.
But if I'm not back next morning have the marines come get me!
I'd gladly expose myself to another culture!
