Do you know how to drive a stick shift?
They're a lot more fun to drive than automatics.
Never learned, never needed to.
Smh, young people.
Always, both cars.
Learned on one and have one now
I'll choose a manual transmission over an automatic any day. Even if the automatic can shift faster than me or more efficiently than me; it's worth driving the manual simply for the fun factor. It's just more engaging and interesting.
My truck is a stick shift. Manual trucks are even harder to come by than manual cars.
I was just talking about manual cars today! I want to learn how to drive in order to save on rental cars when I travel.
I can drive anything.
That's what I learned to drive at 9. Have driven anything from a three on the tree to an 18 speed big rig. Even a couple with three different sticks.
Yes I can.. Manual tractor, manual truck, manual motorcycle I even drove a 18 wheeler for about 35 miles
My car is stick shift.
I will always choose the manual if I can.
I could if I had to, but I don't like to and I'm not very good at it. Most times, my legs just aren't long enough for the clutch. We had a Mustang that hubby had to make a block to put on the clutch just so I could get it pressed down far enough.
I learned on a stick shift but am woefully out of practice. So, no, I no longer can operate a manual transmission.
It comes back quickly.
I learned on a tractor.
For many years only drove cars and trucks with sticks...now I only have automatics.
I do, my daily driver is a six speed manual and my Jeep is a five speed manual. I much prefer the standard transmission over an automatic.
I prefer it, too. I learned to drive with a stick shift and they are so much easier to handle in bad weather.
I had to order my car because they didn't have one that had all of the features I wanted but with a manual transmission.
Why yes, yes I do. 🏎
