Have you ever been on an anti depressant medication?
Yes. A few times throughout my life. But not now
Yes but for ocd, not depression
I have to to control it. I've been on various ones for 8 years now.
I get disassociated when I take antidepressants and antianxiety.. never again. 🚫
Yes, many. Finally found a combo that works, Im on two. Xanax for when anxiety gets out of control. Works for when weird neurological shit is keeping me from falling asleep too.
After major back surgery recovery.
Yes, I have major depression.
Been on Zoloft for awhile now. No depressed at all anymore.
I don't take an anti-depressant, but my son does (along with a few other people I know). My son has taken Prozac for 2 years now and, along with therapy, it's really helped him.
Zoloft in high school. Senior year I went off it. Late in the year, I was feeling particularly down, so I took a double dose. I felt high the whole day. lol
I was on Zoloft for about 9 months after my mom passed away. It really helped me (along with counseling) get through the toughest parts of my grief.
Just started Zoloft and I'm experiencing some side effects. Based on the experience I've read from many others, this seems to be normal for the first couple days to a month. Also got prescribed xanax to help with anxiety as it comes up.
I just started Zoloft about 3 months ago for anxiety. I hated it the first few months but I think it's ok now and I've noticed my moods are better.
I am prone to depression as well and have not been very depressed since I've started it
Keep watch on it. And if you feel more depressed, or suicidal, tell your doctor immediately. Sometimes they can do the opposite of what they're supposed to.
I'm being mindful of that. I plan on calling my doc on Monday to discuss how I've been feeling compared to before.
I'm glad it worked for you flower. I'm hoping for similar results. I start counseling in a week and a half. Feels like a month and a half away though.
Does alcohol count?
I think that's a depressant, not an anti depressant
I was joking. I would never recommend alcohol for depression.
