TRUMP: "Women - you've got to treat them like s###. It doesn't matter what they say, as long as you've got a young and beautiful piece of a##." Seriously, should this scumbag be President?
This is a loaded question.
Unelectable. This guy is like a bull in a china shop.
When, where and in what context did he say that?? Otherwise I simply dismiss it as bandwagon gossip.
I said sure. I'm not voting for him and that wasn't the poll. Of all the scum bags running for president who cares what any of them say, one scumbag will be elected and even if they're the least scummy they're still scummy.
If we are going to call out one candidate for his views on women, let's call them all out, starting with Ted Cruz and voting against the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act in 2013. Who's next?
Marco Rubio: No abortion even in cases where the woman's life is in danger, or in cases of rape or incest.
That's Walker's policy, I was unaware that Rubio was also no exception.
That's Scott Walker not Rubio
I just read that Rubio did favor exceptions. Thanks for clarifying lady!
Ewwww 22% say sure what's wrong with people
I enjoy being a woman. Those comments don't bother me, they make me laugh.
It sure doesn't bother me as much as that damn condescending arrogance that Hillary spews.
He is a Presbyterian, not a Christian. He is also NOT a politician but a business mogel who speaks his mind. Which is better, the guy who hides his words and thoughts behind political correctness or the guy who is honest.
Presbys aren't Christian?
Not necessarily. Obama does claim to be a Christian, after all. Presbyterian is only a denomination.
What's better, a guy who is an openly sexist piece of shit, or a guy who at least pretends to have a little respect for half the population?
I'll take open and honest over a fake, narcissistic liar any day.
Now we are judging who is Christian and who isn't?
Can I ask why you guys care so much about Obama's religion? He should be keeping his religion separate from his politics anyway.
He doesn't though, does he...
How do you mean?
Just for clarification, people:
There is no rule and no law that says a president or public official should keep there personal religion separate from their work. The Separation of Church and State is not in the Constitution and the 1st Amendment to the Bill of Rights is important.
Unless it conflicts with beliefs that are not your own?
I'm getting the sense some of you think BO is a Muslim. If that's the case, you should be completely ok with him allowing his faith to guide his presidential decisions and policy making. Using your logic.
Obama is neither Christian nor Muslim nor atheist. His only God is himself.
But you didn't answer the question. Are you ok with a Scott Walker who governs his every decision based on his faith as well as someone who is not a Christian?
You mean like it has been done for the last 6 years. I guess you can see how screwed up our country has become.
That's the point when you govern based on your personal beliefs. Say no to Cruz/Walker!
We have had a godless President and a godless Supreme Court for the last 6 years. Just look around at how screwed up everything has become because of it.
So you'd prefer a Christian run government? Christian POTUS, and SCOTUS? And anyone that objected? Anyone that wasn't Christian? There views just conveniently dismissed?
I feel sad for you. Your view of a Theocracy is no different than a radical view of Islamic theocracy in the Middle East. At some point, your way will turn to torturing and killing anyone who doesn't believe in Christianity. Pity,
You need not be concerned. American's have turned their collective backs on God. It will never be the strong Godly nation it used to be. The blessings are over. The bizarre weather phenomenon are just beginning for a people in rebellion to God.
I just can't with the irrational fear and paranoia. What you peie have done to faith and God and Jesus is just despicable. Shame.
I agree. You've made religion sound like a blind following of a cult that should be ruling the world
We agree on something political! Hes just a terrible person.
I don't think he should be anywhere near the White House, but j have some issues with that quote. From what I've been able to find, it appeared in a magazine article as something that New York magazine said a *friend* told the he had said. It that's
correct, it's at best an indirect comment, veracity unknown. The fact that it was reportedly said over 20 years ago puts it in a somewhat different context, too, as others have said... It he shouldn't get a complete pass on that - partly because
he has continued with some very misogynistic comments in the intervening years.
But he's really a general insult hurler, calling *anybody* lightweights or failures if they don't agree with him. his attitude is juvenile & just not POTUS material.
At least he's playing the role of making the other Republicans look more presidential by comparison to his act.
Tom, I think this the first time you and I agree on something political!!
Here's to many more! 😃
Trump is actually brilliant, perhaps by accident. He makes comments like this, gets the front page, then rationalizes what he meant. Meanwhile, Hillary is obstructing justice. A great script!
And he won't be. There's only a small group of people that gravitate toward this type of individual. It's not going to happen!
Go get 'em, Tom.
Tom....I still think he may be a Hillary insurance policy.
Took the words right out of my mouth, Tom- heck no!
With all due respect, you don't feel women should be in positions of power as per your biblical views. How is this different from Trump thinking they don't belong in positions of power in a boardroom? A lot of biblical views taken literally
On SOH seem to be a bit misogynistic no?
I prefer about 5 other candidates before trump he's definitely not my fav but i vote for him over half the republican field and any democrat
But i would*
😳 He actually said that?
It's still not good...
Kenna, he did say the first part. Rlands looked it up and posted the source below.
I see. Yes, I never liked Trump. He's not even an attractive asshole! There's literally nothing to like about him.
It was from an esquire article in 1991. I'm no Trump defender.
In a 1991 Esquire interview, he said: “You know, it doesn’t really matter what [the media] write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of [expletive].”
Inside the privacy of your own home in a clearly joking attitude, that might be humorous, but that's not something you say for the entire American public to hear...
And this was 1991 when stuff like this was absolutely ok to say because that's just how it was. A lot has changed in 24 years.
Trump has it all figured out, doesn't he?
That was sarcasm.
Even if it is sarcasm, it is HIGHLY inappropriate!
I think Pol meant that his OWN statement was sarcasm, Bam. True, Pol?
That actually makes more sense, Tom.
I was talking about my own statement!
My apologies, Political.
Before you ask, I don't have a link for this quote. I heard it today on TheBlazeTV, which has the highest journalistic standards and does not make quotes up. You are welcome to Google it yourself. I think this attitude on Trump's part is shameful.
With all due respect, the blaze has the highest journalistic standards? You do realize you are talking about the blaze right?
Yes, Axl, I undoubtedly know much more about it than you do, since I watch it for eight hours each day.
Is that your only source of news?
"You have to treat em like shit."
New York Magazine, November 9, 1992
I'm not saying it didn't happen. I'm just confused why the blaze, a hugely biased news source, would be reporting about this on one of their own.
Axl, they are just my favorite. I used to watch FoxNews all the time. But TheBlaze is much more fair and balanced. I read several Internet news sources, and watch other TV news now and then also (even MSNBC).
Axl, Trump is NOT "one of their own"! They can't stand him because they don't believe he's a real conservative. They (and I) like Cruz, Carson, Walker, and Rubio.
So you admit they are biased. Biased news isn't a high standard of journalism. That goes for the left and the right. News isn't supposed to have an opinion.
Only reporting certain information that fits an agenda is no better.
You tell em Tom...that quote is totally inappropriate and offensive as are many other things Trump has said.
Thank you! He sees women, even his wives and daughter, as objects, and I won't be silent about it! 😃
