The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) has turned 10 today. The mission was only supposed to last two years. Do you believe that MRO will last another 5 years?
I'm at least 90% sure anything NASA dies is a lie, so I'm sure they'll say that "orbitter" that doesn't exist could be 100
If something last more then 2 years, then it probably won't break anytime soon.
The way NASA builds stuff I wouldn't be suprised. But I have no clue.
I think it might, but even if it doesn't we've more than gotten our money's worth out of it.
No, they will send it to Philly.
Probably another twenty years, until the government send someone to find out why it hasn't died. Then they'll kill it. And try to make it look good.
Remarkable human achievement.
My scientific guess is yes, even though I'm not a scientist.
Idk the specifics, but it depends on how much battery it has. They could power down instruments in theory to extend it's lifespan. It could probably last another 5 if they want it to.
Any comment by me would be redundant.
No clue but coming down on the side of optimism.
I don't know anything about it but I'm optimistic so yes
I'm going to say yes, based on absolutely nothing.
I have reviewed your evidence and I agree, it will last another 5 years
You judging that you voted and then commented.
You have a point! Nice prison ID.
Actually pretty close guess. It's my school lunch code from way back in middle school.
Lol, But I like the prison Id better.
And it's the "Mars" Reconnaissance Orbiter.
I turned ten FIRST!
