It only hurts the people on minimum wage. Company's will invest in robots or even androids.

Nope. It encourages growth by forcing employers to either invest in tech that will replace low skilled jobs or provide better services.

I think that part of the American dream is to be willing to start at the bottom and advance through hard work and continuing education. Today we lack that patience and work ethic, and it's sad.

Minimum wage is price fixing. So really, any minimum wage is ridiculous.
Low skill, experience, & ability does not warrant a liveable wage. If you are over 21 & still making a low wage, you have more serious problems that $$ can't solve.
