Friday night President Obama and Governor Romney both delivered some comic relief at a charity dinner. Videos are in the blog. After you have a few minutes to watch...who do you think was funnier?
At Virgil cole
That is probably the stupider comment you could make.
And conservatives have a sense of humor?
Romney is robotic an you could tell he was uncomfortable with having a little personality.
Romney makes me laugh everyday.
Yeah no funny liberal democrats in show business lol
Romney didn't make up his own joked it was evident
Because how often he says "um" really reflects his leadership ability...
@FlaPilot I don't know what "hunt..dint" mean but I'm gonna try to make sense out of what I can. 11% percent of democrats(as of the time of this comment) agree the oposite party was funnier and only 6% of Republicans voted Obama to be funnier. Wouldn't this evidence fault your party with being bias?
My question would be, how would a liberal democrat know if something is funny?
Not the greatest sense of humor these people.
FlaPilot, look at both the republican and democratic breakdowns for this question, learn some manners, and then get back to all of us. No one wants to hear someone's rude, dogmatic points of view, whether they agree with them or not. Be mature and learn some respect.
Too bad that was the only funny part of his speech.
Lighten up, Francis.
I thought the funniest part was the surprise on Romney's face when he started reading his compliments towards Obama.
The president doesn't control gas prices...
Yeah, but that's the one I didn't get.
It's funny how hard Obama tries
Both had good writers, but I think Obama had a better delivery.
If you really want funny, check upworthy's video of the Saturday night lives version of the townhall presidential debate. Too funny!!
I thought Romney was too stilted and did not have a smooth delivery. Way too many "um" s for him to be speaking as our next President. Needs to go to speech 101 class!
It was nice to see them both showing respect to each other as people and family men. We need more civility in the midst of our disagreements. This was good.
Honestly I think Dennis miller wrote his.... And he is a funny dude.
The Big Dummy was funny. Hell, I could actually like the guy. He is is simply a terrible President.
Experiment over. Now we need to let the actual leaders have the controls.
Not biased Itan. It's called observant.
Look at the poll results on this app and tell me where I'm wrong.
Hunt..dint waste your time, you'll just look even more out of the loop than normal. lol
Romney...he's got a binder full of jokes
I actually think Romney sounded more human than politician in those last remarks than I've ever heard from him. Why so late?
Agree 100%. I will say the remarks Mitt made after the jokes were the most sincere sounding I've ever heard from him. He might have my support if he spoke that way more often. And four years ago.
I totally agree
I think Obama was funnier because he made more jokes about himself but the joke mitt Romney made about wearing the tux at home was pretty funny
Stop. Just stop. Both Republicans and Democrats are guilty of this and you singling out Democrats only shows that you are bias.
Proof positive that liberals on this app are not intellectually honest with us or themselves.
"Tonight's dinner was brought to you by the letter "O" and the number 16 trillion."
The best line of the night.
I totally didn't get why using his middle name would be funny. Is it some kind a dictator joke?
He's clearly uncomfortable in front of a crowd. Obama's a more natural entertainer (but a lousy president).
"Obama should've brought Biden because he'll laugh at anything." That was by far the best line.
Biden will laugh at anything was a great line.
Obama was practicing for his new job as a jester. Romney has even promised to make him the official oval office jester if he behaves himself in the upcoming debate.
While we're talking "funny" did anybody besides me find SNL srsly funny last night during the opening skit lampooning the second presidential debate? The jokes inferred neither candidate killed it. Romney had zero understanding of the rules of debate; Obama needed to grow a pair.
Well, like the two of them I put politics aside too and I have to say Romney was funnier; that being said Obama got my vote in '08 and he's going to get my vote again in 2012. (:
Romney killed it..his delivery was smooth and jokes were so much better..obama was OK..reminded me of the movie 8 mile where eminem killed it and the black guy CHOCKED..lol
With the Libyan cover up Fast and furious cover up unemployment at 14.7 the debt soaring gas prices going up and energy prices going up I really don't think its a good time to make jokes. I was disgusted with both of these characters.
That's because Romney's team missed the point of this event.
Yeah, capitalists are SO much funnier! BTW, I thought Romney was hilarious, so consider your point disproven!
The event was on Thursday, not Friday
They both did a good job, and both both cause me yo burst out in laughter regularly, so I dunno.
I think Obama was funnier, but just incrementally. Obama had a more natural, conversational comfort at the podium. Romney didn't seem to have Obamas ease and delivery, yet seemed effective. If both were to drop politics to pursue comedy, I give Obama the greater chance at success.
I agree, I am a right winger, however when I see all of these debates and campaign rally's, and dinners my wife and I both put our political views aside and actually listen to everything that is said....I listen to left radio and right radio, EVERYONE needs to be open minded about all this!
I think they both did good
