Do you subscribe to cable or satellite TV service?
Dad gets DirecTV. Sunday ticket & WWE is the only reason why I watch. TV is a reality wasteland. Who wants to see naked people in a jungle? It's idiotic
Technically neither - fibre optic television instead.
Nope. Not for like 6-7 years.
No, but my parents do and I'm there a few times a week watching my programs on their dvr.
Yes, I enjoy their products BUT feel that I am being robbed in order to enjoy them
Yes, and I'm beginning to wonder why. It's expensive and they don't offer much of anything. In fact most TV these days is not worth watching.
Have cable...just got Hulu....love British and Aussie police procedurals....
Yes, but dropping it. Nothing worth watching that I can't stream in some way.
Yeah, I like too many sports to not have it
FiOS......if my only choice was cable company I would go internet only.
Cable TV is a waste of money in my opinion. I have the internet.
Growing up I only had three "over the air" stations to choose from. No option to pay for TV service. I have never been able to justify paying for TV service, so I do not have cable or satellite TV service, only over the air.
Same here, my parents never had cable but now have Netflix, but that's because we buy them Netflix gift cards on birthdays and Christmas. So they really are not paying for that either. Lol
Cable. They are the only reasonable choice for InterWeb access here, and the discount for getting TV and landline service as well makes the choice even easier.
If it weren't for football season, I would probably be happy with Netflix and Hulu plus. But I work too many Sundays and need to record games.
Canceled the TV service because I'm tired of paying for nothing but still have the internet
Sling TV, baby!!!
We just cancelled directv. Tired of paying a fortune for terrible service and 100 channels we don't want or need.
Cable and hulu is sufficient. Down with these telecom companies that think they are immune to technology changes.
I'm cable and satellite free. I'm able to watch my favorite shows on Netflix and Hulu.
Not anymore. We "cut the cord" this year and just have Internet - we only pay for Netflix and Hulu.
Cable. We lost our azimuth (love that word). Trees grew too tall.
When NFL Sunday Ticket is available over the Internet, I will convert to Internet TV options, only.
I see commercials advertising OTA HD antennas. Like its a new concept? OTA analog was around since 1949. People were so brainwashed paying for TV They don't even remember you could ALWAYS have an OTA antenna. Parents still and never had cable!
Good to see so many cable cutters. My condo has an OTA antenna on the roof, so use that Netfix, Hulu Plus, Roku, Apple TV, Video Podcasts. Really there are so many free and cheap ways to get content why does anyone pay for TV service anymore?
So glad I ditched them. My bill went from $180+ down to $60 for 'net only. We really don't have time for much TV anyway, so why spend all that cash?!
Cable is dead. Long live streaming!
I do... Contract is up in October... I'm looking to make a change then.
Had DirecTV, but had to dump it for financial reasons.
Yes, but I've been planning to switch to Netflix and just pay for Internet and phone. I don't watch much TV and when I do it's usually reruns of older shows.
Dish but since I subscribed to Netflix I almost never use it.
Unfortunately. Can't wait to get away from direct tv and its liberal addenda.
Only because the cost of a package with 10 basic channels was cheaper than internet alone.
DirectTV for 10 years.
Been internet only for two years.
That would be "Yes", to both! I subscribe to cable at home for TV, and unparalleled streaming speeds for my home Mac. I also subscribe to Sirius Satellite Radio for my vehicle, work, iPhone, and web.
Nope. Dropped it all about 2 years ago. Been using the roku ever since. I will never go back.
Nope, netflix is good enough
Not in the college budget
No! Too expensive, hate commercials on regular and cable TV (which never made sense to me...PAYING for commercials?) And most TV shows are lame. I'd rather wait till they're on Netflix.
Not all shows make it to Netflix.
Sadly that's true for some of the decent shows.
