Does this really need politicizing? It's a tragic accident and effects everyone. Not just one political party.

We need some sort of environmental protection agency to protect our environment from the EPA.

But what if they eventually make a mistake? Do we create a protection agency for the protection agency of the protection agency?

Well of course we would, followed by an oversight board, and an oversight board overseeing the oversight board which will be overseen by a special committee which will also have regulatory capacity.

Not to mention, there will be a nonpartisan committee selected to review the effectiveness of all this regulation. This will of course be encapsulated within the Department of Environmental Protection Protection Agency.

The EPA did not release the water, it was accidentally released by a private clean up company. And the environmentalist need to come up with a solution.

I don't see anywhere in that article that the clean up team was a private company.

Maxine, are you telling me that if the cleanup people were paid by the government rather than a private company they would somehow magically never make a mistake?

Nor do I see anywhere in the article that says the govt paid the cleanup company.

Oh. So it was just an accident? So was the oil spill in the Gulf.

The EPA's prevention of the oil spill cleanup was no accident.

Aside from the fact that this was accidental, I am impressed to see all these conservatives finally talking about harmful pollution for once.

Nobody is for pollution. The same Government goes after oil companies for an accidental spill. The Government doesn't give them a break.

Who is going to investigate the investigators?

I'd be happy to. The EPA has done more harm than good.

It looks like the EPA needs to fine the EPA.

I'm sure that they'll investigate themselves and find no wrongdoing. 👌🏻 Can't make this stuff up. That's our Government at work. www.ksl.com/?sid=35846944&nid=157&title=lead-arsenic-waste-from-colorado-mine-expected-to-reach-utah
