Does the word "moist" disturb or disgust you in any way?
Yes. It's gross, like a soaked pantyliner or a yeast infection.
I think cake or brownies first.
I grew up making "Super Moist" box cakes. The word is associated with something good for me.
Regardless, I don't think I'd care. I've yet to encounter a real word that bothers me.
It didn't until you pointed out how it could. *shivers* 😅
Lol sorry 😛
No, I can think of many things that are good moist; cakes, cookies, kisses and hugs in the rain...
Apparently it is an icky word? I don't get it lol
Me either! Do you want dry cornbread or moist cornbread? Moist. Do you want a dry brownie or a moist brownie? Again, I prefer moist. Brownies should never be mistakable for hockey pucks!
Ima, you are the best
Darnit, I know there's a book about words sounding nasty but forgot the title, maybe I remember it later. It had moist, it also had for example mastication (too close to masturbation) and poop deck as well as hoar frost.
Oh dang, praet!!
Thanks Nik, I appreciate it! Was it any cooler today?

Ima, only got up to 106, then at about 6:00 started raining, I think we got about an inch.
So now it's around 98 and 75%rh. Gotta luv monsoons ;-)
Why yes, yes you do. 106 isn't too shabby for early August. That could've been worse. It rained here today, too. If I could've shared the 75 degrees with y'all, I would've. Then again, that's what you'll have all winter long! 🌴
