Maybe, but mostly I think they are stupidaholic. It's one thing to be ignorant, but it's another to embrace deliberate stupidity as if it is your life's calling. At some point it seems they get so caught up in it they can't escape without help.

I think maybe they are prone to believe in wild conspiracy theories and connect dots where there aren't any dots to connect.

I don't think the birther movement has much to do with Obamas skin. Just idiocy

One could make the argument birthers only attack Obama for his birthplace but not Ted Cruz for his birthplace because of racism. Wether that's true or not is up to you to decide

I would believe that if they cared about Ted Cruz in the same way.

Ted Cruz and Obama are basically in the same boat, by way of citizenship........Both are offspring of a single U.S. Citizen......not meaning they are greater or lesser in by way of citizenship, just that being born abroad and being born " Feet Dry."

I don't think they are necessarily xenophobic. I think birthers believe Obama lied to achieve the presidency.

Exactly. Lied because he was apart of a long drawn out plan to get control and ruin the country.
