Attached is a link to an article about common phrases from the 1800s. They are quite amusing and I am considering ways to reintroduce them to common use. Do you enjoy learning about obsolete idioms?

My favorite words in the article were shoddyocracy, which reminded me of a current favorite, idiocracy, and slangism, which may itself be one as it doesn't appear in the two dictionaries I checked.

Sort of because some are not as obsolete as you'd think. They come up in old legal cases and I'm always having to look them up.
