Is there anyone you currently emotionally miss a lot?
My parents, dad died 15 years ago; mom 10 years ago😥
A lot of people...😢
My sister...she used to live close but now lives far away.
A friend I used to be close to.
I haven't seen my dog in 3 weeks
My Dad, Brother and Nana.
Well up until recently it was a friend I hadn't seen in months, but I've finally been spending some time with him. I'm an only child, not close with my parents or any other family, and he's the closest thing to a brother I've ever had ❤
That would be my wife of 43 years, but I don't miss her because I have her with me.
Thank you God!
One of my best friends lives in Paris.
I miss her when I eat certain foods or am in certain parts of Seattle.
Several, a gift for being old.
In a little over a week I lost my cousin, an old coworker, and had my 20th high school reunion. I'm missing a lot of people right now.
My parents, but we will be reunited one day.
There are also emotional ties that spans great distances...😊
My son. He lives in Europe.
Yes and they don't know that I do😔
My husband - who has been deployed since March.
I thank you both for his service.
My girlfriend we've gotten to see each other one time this summer break and that was about a month ago
Yes and it's simply emotional connection. The person is right here and it's a horrible feeling.
I've been in that position. I hope things improve for you very soon.
Thank you bug, me too.
This is quite strange that you ask this question right now. The last 2 nights I had dreams about somebody I haven't seen in a year, and wasn't really a big part in my life until my last year in my old hometown.
Yes, a friend that lost his life in an IED explosion in Baghdad. It's been almost 10 years and I think about him on a weekly basis.
I am sorry for your loss.
A matter of fact there is. And I usually don't miss anyone.
Are you usually too drunk to notice?
Yes, I drink to forget.
Good choice. It helps send the pain below.
Has he passed away?
Yes, 5 weeks ago
Sorry to hear that. Were you close?
Yes... It was tough to lose him. Cancer really sucks, he should have been here a lot longer.
That's the worst, losing someone you are close to. I hope you got to spend some quality time before he passed and he knew how much you cared about him.
Thanks. I did get to spend a lot more time with him... We moved to WA to be closer to my parents and to be with him at the end we knew was coming. I'm glad I can now help my mom too.
That is good you had those remaining days. What part of Washington are you near?
So sorry for your loss. Joshua 1:9
I'm in southern WA about a mile north of the Columbia River and fairly close to Portland. It's pretty incredible here, especially if you enjoy the outdoors!
That must be really nice! Never been out there but hope I can someday. Heard it's beautiful.
