Since Sesame Street wasn't around when I was little, I watched Romper Room and Captain Kangaroo. I can't say Sesame Street is better than either one of those.

Sesame Street didn't even exist when I was a young kid. I watched Howdy Doody and Captain Kangaroo. And the Mickey Mouse Club.
