Are you a "birther" (someone who believes that Barrack Obama was not born in the United States)?

he wouldn't be president if he wasn't born in the US, like DUH.

Birthers give the party a bad name. President Obama has many faults, but to claim that he wasn't born in the United States is insane. Federal authorities would have never allowed him to become POTUS.

This argument came from the tea party, they just could not stand that a black man was the president of the United States , and they need to just admit that. They called him everything in the book except the N word, well, not in public.

I know this is off topic and all but at least one of Ted Cruz's parents(I forget which one) made Ted Cruz a natural-born citizen. Obama's parents don't make him a natural-born on his own, thus the big deal on where he was born

Zmandd Manchaca, Texas

I'm personally not a "birther" myself, but you can't honestly say that a counterargument could be, "Well Ted Cruz is Canadian so..."

How is Obama not a natural born citizen but Cruz is? Are you that retarded?

Zmandd Manchaca, Texas
08/04/15 1:25 am

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Obama's father wasn't a U.S. Citizen at the time and the mother was a little too young to qualify Obama as one yet(I think she was 18, and you had to have at least five years above 16 to qualify). Not sure

Congressman Louisiana

Qualify for what? Where do you get this info? She was born in the states. She's an automatic US citizen.

Zmandd Manchaca, Texas
08/04/15 1:51 am

Yes, she was a U.S. Citizen, but from what I've heard, she was simply too young for Obama to be "Natural-born." I'm not arguing that he's "native born," but I can see how there would be more concern about the legitimacy of his claim

Congressman Louisiana

I don't know who you got that information from but they are pants on head regarded. There is no minimum age or anything like that. As soon as she was born she has all rights as a U.S. citizen, including birth rights to her children.

TiredofIt Texas
08/03/15 4:08 pm

Obama's clear contempt for America and his constant attacks on and demeaning of those people....

RoDe Latinus wordsus
08/03/15 4:48 pm

Obama has contempt for conservative America, I won't argue with that. So do I. Not sure how that would lead one to believe I wasn't born here. How do any of his actions lead to birtherism, and why have no other candidates been subject to it?

TiredofIt Texas

No he has contempt for all of America as it is hence the "fundamental transformation" crap.

RoDe Latinus wordsus
08/03/15 6:07 pm

RoDe Latinus wordsus

RoDe Latinus wordsus

"Us all", first of all I thought you weren't a birther, secondly I called them nativists not racist, there's a difference. If aFrench reporter came and interview Kasich's mother, and during the interview misinterpreted a comment as to saying she was

RoDe Latinus wordsus

TiredofIt Texas

You want to call "us all" CONSERVATIVES racist, not birthers. And you use nativist simply so that you can say you didn't say racists....

RoDe Latinus wordsus
08/04/15 12:26 pm

I want to call all conservatives racist? News to me. Any reason why I would want that? Wouldn't I prefer instead the racist conservatives become not racist?

And birthers are nativist, birthers aren't not necessary racist, though I'm sure many are.

This just in, even if he was born in Kenya, Zimbabwe, Russia, the UK or ANYWHERE else for that matter, his mother was a citizen at birth and that automatically makes him a natural born citizen despite location of birth.

Okay, you can "disagree" but you are wrong. Natural born can happen two different ways:

1) You are born on U.S. soil.
2) You are born outside of the U.S. while either parent is a U.S. citizen.

"natural born" just means citizen from birth. He didn't have to take a test or apply for citizenship.

Dankirves
08/03/15 8:26 am

I'm going to explain this is simply as I can...

The founding fathers who wrote the constitution knew the term, Natural Born Citizen, to mean any person who is a citizen at the time of birth and does not need to obtain citizenship via naturalization.

Dankirves
08/03/15 8:27 am

In England, the term is spelled out, the term at that time was commonly known. So this is where the debate over the term not being defined in our constitution ends.

If we wrote the constitution today, we would not explicitly spell out the...

Dankirves
08/03/15 8:29 am

Definition of any word that is commonly understood. As was it in the 1700's, the term Naturn Born Citizen was commonly understood as was spelled out under England's law. Which is where they got the term from.

Sentinel Ya ie wa noh

Therefore, meaning no requirement of proof of citizenship once born on U.S. soil, children born overseas or abroad to U.S. personal still must go through the INS to establish their citizenship claim.......

Wrong sentinel, they do NOT go through naturalization. They are simply born to a citizen and are citizens at birth. PERIOD.

To be a United States citizen, you may qualify in accordance..

There is so much evidence that says he was not born here. There was never a birth certificate produced, just a verification form.
At this point, it don't matter, the damage to the US is done and will take decades to repair, it it ever is repaired.
