Should prisons be allowed to deny inmates their regular prescribed medications, for needs of budget cuts or otherwise?
Prisoners still do have some rights, which includes the right to life.
Aren't the prisons responsible?
Shouldn't the prison's doctors authority preempt others?
It seems to me that if outsiders take authority they should provide what is needed.
Recently, a prison had two inmates die by refusing them medications. The prison doctors had no say over this, other than giving prescriptions. It is a sad feat.
