This goes to show what legislation has the power to do.

No. I never answer my phone while I drive. That's what the voice message feature is for.

Yes but very rarely, and I avoid it when possible.

Put it on speaker and put it under the bra strap on my shoulder.

Sometimes, but not holding it. It pairs with my car, so I just leave it in my pocket. If I'm in my wife's car I just use the watch (it's always paired with that). Either way, if I'm driving, I'm not fooling around with a phone.

No, because it's dangerous and if it's really that important, I can pull over for a few minutes.

Me too but I see so many folks driving late model cars talking on their devices. I wonder sometimes if it's just they don't know how to pair their phones or what.

It puts your conversation on the speakers for all to hear.

That's okay mine has a privacy button where I can use the handset if required. If I'm in the car and I receive a call I don't want other passengers to hear I don't pickup. Also, generally I don't talk unless I'm alone in the car. Sometimes I do when

I want others in the car to join in such and when my wife and I discuss business with a potential client or contractor.

Info realize when I'm talking to others they may have me on speaker but that's a risk with handsets too. Am I missing something? Not trying to fight here as generally I've come to respect you and your insights and views.

Interesting. I've just never been a fan of them.

I understand no problem- that may be why I see so many people using handset. Thanks for your feedback.

Yeah, it's simplest to just hold the phone for me.

Decided on a 2012 or 2013 JX35. Right in my price range and a lovely looking sport utility vehicle at that.

Sweet!! Nice looking SUV. I always liked Infinities. At least you'll have something reliable now and won't have to worry about it breaking down. Congratulations

I wanted the current model (now named QX60) because it comes in a hybrid, but that's too expensive for me unfortunately.

I have a set of headphones that have a mic in them so I can handle a call with only one earbud in. Siri lets me call hands free m.

On very rare occasions, when I'm leaving and telling my Mrs I am doing so. I usually hang up before I leave the parking lot.

If I need to, but not in traffic. Usually I put it on speaker.
