Follow-up: Simply put, in general would you be willing to sacrifice one (or more) of your personal freedoms in exchange for a handful of new federal policies that directly support your political agenda?

My personal political agenda would give the American people their rights back.

No, my political agenda prioritizes personal freedoms. Such a bargain would be counterproductive.

Exactly what I was going to say as well!

Depends. I usually value personal freedoms over policy.

Policy can change back and forth, but Freedoms are not given back.

I would sacrifice a lot if it meant we could end welfare and food stamps abuse. It's a lot more common than some of the left would have you believe.

Eh. It depends which freedom and what parts of my political agenda would be put into place. My beliefs are so all over the place though, either people would be happy with the compromise, or they'd all leave America.

Vote on my previous poll, as well as the original by steelcity and see if you'd go for either of those examples

I did, and no, I'm neither liberal nor conservative, so neither of those are desirable for me.

"Personal freedoms" in this context could refer to any freedom that you personally value in your life. Such as the right to own guns, the right to choose, free speech, etc etc
