Before this poll, were you aware that pharmacists have their own specific degree called a PharmD (doctor of pharmacy)?
I know they have their own degree but didnt know thats what they called it, just a word to anyone who hasnt picked a career, i have several friends who are, i never hear them complain about their jobs.. And good money in it too....
As someone who's going into the field, it shocks me how many people are unaware of this.
Thanks! I start professional school in the fall. 4 years to go 😞
Best time of your life!
Isn't it shocking how many people trivialize someone with years of schooling and a medical degree.
Yeah that's the only doubt I have about going into the field. Medical doctors get all this respect from their patients, where pharmacists get treated like shit just because there's a $5 copayment or something stupid like that.
Would be cool to work in a Hospital Pharmacy
Yeah it would but that's generally a two year low-pay residency and even after that, it is lower pay than retail.
I'm hoping to just move to a suburb and work in a slow pharmacy haha
Ok..... At least you have a Plan! 😃
