You're on the beach, the sand is unbearably burning hot, & you need to get somewhere. Are you more likely to put on your flip flops (or other shoes) and struggle to walk like that or go barefoot & try to run to your destination?
I've been walking on burning sand my whole life, living at the beach I'm barefoot all the time except when I'm at work so I have intense calluses on my feet and don't need to worry about the heat of sand or pavement anymore lol
I'm not a shoobie. Wearing any kind of footwear on the beach is not acceptable
Flip flops come off as soon as I reach the sand
They don't come back on until the street starts grossing me out either 😂 I don't really like wearing shoes.
I'm known to leave my house without any footwear. I even drive barefoot frequently 😉
I always drive with shoes just in case something happens.
I keep shoes (and a bunch of other random junk) in the back of my car 😁
When I have a car, that is. I'm going they a tough divorce from my vehicle at the moment 😞
Awe 😢 I just drive my parent's cars...
My dad won't let me anywhere near his Porsche lol. My driving has been described as "atrocious". I disagree but w/e lol
I have always had super tinder feet, so I am putting on shoes.
If you walk around barefoot for a while, your feet will get calluses and toughen up. They call em hippie feet.
Flip flops on!!
Couldn't you just walk down to the water where the sand is wet and cool?
Praying for no glass and running like hell
I would probably wear those water shoes, if i knew the sand was that hot. I'm calling them "water shoes", not sure what the actual name is though. Lol. I don't like the idea of sand in my shoes, but sand burning the feet is even worse. :)
The sand is much cooler underneath the surface for obvious reasons. So if you're ever stuck on hot sand without shoes, dig your feet into the ground a bit.
Sneakers going on
Ew. Who wears sneakers to the beach?
No... You only wear sneakers to the beach if you accidentally end up there.
I was at a waterpark yesterday and people were wearing socks on water slides like wtf¿
Run like hell and hope I don't step on anything sharp!
Shoes for sure. I've gotten enough glass in my feet to have learned my lesson.
