Have you ever visited your state capitol building?
Yes has one of the 5 largest domes in the world it's a beautiful building
As a class field trip in elementary school, I don't really remember it though.
Yes, I even worked there for a number of years.
Driven through Albany but never actually stopped to walk around
I'm not even really sure Carson City actually exists. It's one of those places like Fargo ND. Everyone has heard of it, but no ones actually been there.
Yep, participated in the NC Student Legislature in undergrad in Raleigh Capitol building.
no, but I peed on the capital steps in Austin tx one night
No. I would if there was something significant to see.
What's the point
I've never even been to Olympia.
Yes! All the time. I live in Madison and there are events around the Capitol square constantly. It's a beautiful building and most of our non church wedding photos were taken inside or on the grounds.
People die in Trenton. New Jersey is one of the deadliest places on earth. Why North Koreans stay to the left of California.

I've been to Albany once in my life..and I barely remember it
Many times. Could see it from school. Between classes i would walk and go right by it and went inside a few times.
Not since I've been in Jersey.
Yes in 5th grade we took a tour
Yes to the Columbus Capitol building several times
I've been several times. I've always had an interest in history and growing up we never had much money. Thankfully we lived in the San Antonio/Austin area because there are TONS of fascinating historical sites to visit for free, including the Capitol.
Been there, done that...St. Paul, Minnesota, where the state legislature spits out new laws much like a Minnesota packing plant spews out sausages.
Too far and it's the middle of nowhere
Classic Texas lmao vv
Louisiana has the tallest state capital in the US at 450 feet, 34 floors!! On the 27th floor, there is an observation deck. Also, you can still see the bullet holes in the walls where Huey long was assassinated!
I have lived in TX 4 years and have never seen the capital. When I lived in Baton Rouge, I toured the capital several times and even attended a gala dinner at the governors mansion.
Only because in Alaska it is located in Juneau. A small town SE of Anchorage (our *major* city). Kind of a strange set up we have going in up here.
I would but there's nothing exciting in Albany.
Delaware's capitol building is the best out of all the states
Yep. On my eighth grade Springfield trip.
Texans are proud. I'm not surprised that 3/4 of us have visited Fha capitol in Austin.
Emp- haha.. I know you're smart but it's great to know you you're still a kid:-))
My last state, not my current state.
Copperhead- What awesome goals! Good luck!
RJackson- very cool. Do they allow pictures taken?
Yes, on a tour years ago as a kid, and another tour as an adult two years ago when I was there on business anyway. Got sent to DC on business as well, and stayed a few extra days to play tourist, including that capitol building. If you haven't yet, you should. It's pretty cool.
Harrisburg is such a boring place. But everything around it is really nice. Except Philadelphia.
Texas's is the biggest and best.
Not yet, I am do not exactly live close by to Austin.
I've been in the white house and the US capitol
im just glad to see a post where there arnt any rediculous arguments and @copperhead that is really cool and impressive!
Bucket list includes visiting all 50 capitol buildings. So far I've visited 24.
Been to our nation's capitol 6 times though :)
There is nothing worth visiting in Tallahassee, it's a good 8-9 hours from my house. No thanks!
Required Field Trip in Michigan. I wanted to kill myself, the whole time I was there. What 11 year old wants to see the capitol.
The state I was born in, yes.
Field trip like 8 years ago!
Keep Austin weird, y'all :)
Nope. I've seen it from the outside, but never visited.
