No, its not havin 10 million $$s in yo account. Happiness is to be loved unconditionally, having the Lord Jesus in your life, etc. Its actually a word you can feel but cant define.
What would you choose? Millions of Dollars or Jesus? Choose Jesus, 'cause the $$ is temporary while Jesus is eternal

Money. buys security. These days in America the rich are the only ones to afford to run for public office and the only people our politicians care about is the ones who line the campaign coffers

Money spent correctly can make one happier. It has been scientifically proven that if you give more you become happier so in sense you can buy happiness.

If money paid off my school loans, I'd be really happy...
Of COURSE it does!
Enough money can afford me anything I want and that could definitely make me happy.

I think we have overlooked the words "can" it simply means that money has the potential to cause happiness. Donated money brings about happiness to the donor and recipient. Living a life with plenty "can" being about happiness. In no means does money Always bring about happiness.

True, EarlyBird. Sometimes, though, they become addicted to drugs, which they can now afford a LOT of. Sometimes it's harassment by family, friends & strangers. Maybe being uneducated is a factor in some of that too. I've heard it suggested that winners get a good financial advisor immediately.

Even though you may not buy happiness not having money can certainly prevent it . Such as love if you do not have money for a car you must date within a walking distance. Then there's $ for family ,appearance ,waterand all sorts of stuff that can bring you down

It's statistically proven that money does NOT buy happiness. If it buys any sort of happiness, it is very temporary. Surveys across the entire world show that rich people are no happier than poor people. In America though, money makes you only a small percentage happier than those without. Fact.

Yes it can you just have to know how to not wast it on cars and houses. You need to give to charity or help proved food for some soup kitchens or give new winter boots and costs to good will or some non profit organization

I agree I much prefer to be depressed and rich then depressed and poor. At least if I'm rich I can pay someone to help

Happiness at Disney is partly because it's a self-selecting group. To a good extent, people who wouldn't like it don't go there in the first place. And on a jet ski - well, *I* wouldn't look sad... more like terrified.

Try being thankful for the things you DO have. Rather than focusing on all the negatives, try keeping a "Blessings Journal." it's amazing how your attitude will chance when you change your focus.

Have you seen ""Fiddler on the Roof?" I love when Tevia sings, "If I Were a Rich Man." Look for it on YouTube. I think you'll get a kick out of it!

I work in a country club. A majority of my members are the most miserable people I've ever met, regardless of their wealth. Money and happiness don't necessarily go hand in hand.
