Do you want to be famous?
Famous is a broad term, but I would wanna be famous but not to the extent where the paparazzi would be chasing after me .. So not a 'celebrity' :P
I'm gonna be president
No, but I've always wanted to be good friends with someone famous.
I can't even stand it when someone runs into me at the grocery store.
Rich will do
No... Everyone would care about everything you do- no privacy
I want to be famous for like inventing a new drug or the cure or cancer or something like that
Same, I want to be famous but not for a kardashian reason
Umm... DUH!! :)
Age filter!!! Haha
I like being just who I am. ????????????
I would want to be famous for something good...a skill, a talent, an accomplishment etc... I would never want to be a worthless, media baiting, spotlight seeking, societal leach like one of those dirty Kardashian nut jobs..."famous for being famous" is not worthy of anybody's time or money
I want to be a known actress. Like Olivia While. She is known, but you don't see her on tv like many famous people.
I would like to be a famous author, but I will write under a pen name so I wont have so much fame.
Look what the paparazzi and fame did to Britney, Lindsay Lohan, Marilyn Monroe, etc. Even though, luckily, Britney has made it out and got herself together. But either way it's a tough thing to deal with, regardless of how much money they may have.
Because I work in the industry, I know 'celebrities.' I do not envy them.
Classic case of trading one set of problems for different, but equally difficult problems.
RICH would be better!!
No way. Just anonymously wealthy.
Although I do want to act and you kind of have to be famous to have a career in that
We talk about this in my bible class all the time. Basically, you start out nice and innocent and then fame changes you and inflates your ego and you end up losing yourself and doing what everyone else wants you to do
I want to be famous so bad!
No way! I value my privacy to much.
Good point. I think as a kid, most of dreamed of fame and spotlight.
Age filter is interesting on this one.
I wanted to be famous when I was younger, but now I wouldn't want to deal with the paparazzi or press, so no.
Maybe well-known around the scientific community, but not famous. It'd be so much work just to live your daily life!
I want to be famous to all scientists in the world by winning the Noble Prize someday.
Maybe famous the way it was 50 years ago, when people respected personal space and you could have a semi-private life. but famous today? No thank you- paparazzi, TMZ... It would be a nightmare.
so this has nothing to do with your comment but your name made me laugh :)
Go ahead make my day.
I'd love to contrast this question with the results of a new question: do you want to leave a legacy?
The privacy issue alone would be a good deterrent for a lot of people.
Yes, but for the right reasons. I would want to be a talented athlete, actress, or world leader... Not a Kardashian.
It's always Vermont... Can someone explain???
Rich yes, famous, no.
Just because you're famous doesn't make you rich. Octomom isn't rich and she's famous. Hitler was famous, he was rich, which is why he used Germany's money for personal things. Bin laden and Sadam were famous, we know what happened there
No but I'd like to have enough money to never be in debt, go wherever I want for vacation, pay my kids way into college and all that good stuff.
Well Hitler was pretty famous...
Yes, but not for making a sex tape like so many "famous" people have. I want to be famous for being a great person I want to find the cure for something like AIDS or cancer I'm in college right now and my major is microbiology but I'm thinking of switching my major to botany
I wouldn't want to be famous just to be famous. I would want to do something important or good.
Yes! Money , limos, mansion in Hawaii , no school , anything u want ,
Why would anyone not want to be famous
I would like to be famous. Not the celebrity kind of famous, where people with cameras follow your every move. I want to be famous like, say, Steve Jobs was, where people will recognize you if you walk down the street and respect you for what you have done.
For the right reasons, why not?
More famous than I already am? Not worth the extra trouble it might bring. No thanks.
i wouldn't mind doing something famous, but i wouldn't want my name attached.
I'll take the money, though.
I'm an introvert, so no. People knowing who I am is fine, but going in front of people and having people recognize me in public... no thanks.
Going in public do to anything would be an absolute pain even if you like attention. Constantly bring stopped by strangers, and paparazzi.
