Would you rather have to sing the national anthem at a major sporting event, or perform a gymnastics floor routine at the Olympics?
looks like we are running out of poll questions!
I couldn't imagine myself doing gymnastics. l'amour so uncoordinated, I'd look like Bozo the clown instead of a gymnast. and a singer? I'd attract small animals and scare dogs lol
I'm in gymnastics classes, so I'll take that.
Gymnastics is fun.
I'm actually a great singer and in a choir so I would have a little stage fright but would b excited at the sme time
@lissa my mom works in (owns, manages, etc) daycares and has for over 30yrs. Never fails that once a year or so, when she is singing a kid a lullaby, the kid tells her something like "Miss joy, I don't want you to sing anymore" ;)
People *literally* laugh at me when I sing, so I prefer dancing, which I'm actually decent at since I took dance classes for 11 years
I'd get through "Oh say" then I'd pass out and they'd have to carry me off the field.
Gymnastics routine!<3 i LOVE gymnastics and i compete level 10
No kidding Sam. I can only dream of Olympic talent in gymnastics. But I've heard very bad national anthem singing at sports events.
I'm a gymnast and can do a floor routine , I'm training to b a level 9 rite now and I'm 13 so I think I'd do pretty well for my age compared to others ! And dancing is different from gymnastics . Actual gymnastics is much harder than dancing , even though I LOVE to dance :) I'm outttt !!!!
I would absolutely LOVE to get to sing the national anthem in front of so many people! Oh say can you see, by the dawns early light. What do proudly we hailed at the twilights last gleaming. Who's broad stripes and brights stars, through the perilous fight. I would be honored to do that.
Haha @mj- a good life philosophy really ;)
Singing would have a lower chance of personal injury. Although I can't speak for those who might have their hearing damaged by my voice :-)
I have total confidence in my bad singing voice.
If Steven Tyler can do, then i can do it too.
Seeing me dance total comedy. Hearing me sing could be a danger to my health.
Gymnastics all the way! I love it so much! :)
I'm a choir kid, of course I would rather sing!
I'm not sure how gymnastics and dance are the same thing, but I've done both and it would be more fun than singing. :)
Being a former gymnast, a floor routine would definitely be the better option.
OMG! if I'm gonna embarrass myself...I don't need physical pain too!
Im better at singing than dancing, im a guy so i dont think a ballet dude is attractive, so singing is my choice
Dance. Music teachers have their faith restored in humanity when they see me dance, and then commit suicide when they hear me sing.
I can sing. With that song you just have to remember to start low!
I would rather embarrass myself on an international platform than disgrace myself by performing the national anthem wrong.
I can't sing in the least
I can't dance, but I sure can rhyme
I sold a million, in '89
Only of I could do the anthem in rap....
Gym... Only 'cause I could fake an injury or stumble and end my misery quickly...
Since no one watches floor exercise or gymnastics I choose that one
No good at either, but I'd give singing a shot.
I would make sure and practice so I remembered the words though.
I love both gymnastics and singing. I still work at a gym with special needs kids and tumble with them but i have a passion for singing. I have had a dream to do both though.
the water won't run if I sing in the shower. I think I would do a geriatric routine at the Olympics and tell them that I've fallen and I can't get up.
flips are way cooler than singing!
Dance.... I'd look like Nepolian dynamite, but it'd still be waayyy better than singing lol
Im not horrible but not even close to good on both. I hate the sound of my voice in a microphone so I will happy feet it on out there.
Gymnastics is a lot harder than singing. People train their entire lives for that, every day, just for a shot at the Olympics. Anyone can walk off the street and be called awesome by J Lo. So, yeah, I'd pick singing.
Right on Latham! Same here.
If I was good at gymnastics I may pick the Olympics, but I am better at singing than that.... Still not great at dining either....
At least at the Olympics I could do a few somersaults. I can't sing for my life!
I said gymnastics, assuming it meant I'd be in great shape to be able to do that. But crap, does it mean in my present shape? I'd be hooted out of the hall!!
I'd feel much more comfortable singing the anthem, and it would be nice to actually perform it well unlike every rendition I've seen of it lately.
Which ever one would make me die of embarrassment quicker.
You mess up the national anthem at an event and you're toast.
I'd pick the dancing at the Olympics. At least at the Olympics I could say it is a traditional dance of the (make some shit up) people and just roll around on the floor for 30 min and get a standing ovation.
@HateMeNow: Interesting name you have. Happy to accommodate.
I'm a ballet dancer so I think me being able to pick floor routine is a bit unfair. But really, no one ever wants to hear me sing. There is a reason I chose a performance art with no singing.
