I take an organic whole foods multi vitamin. None of that synthetic garbage.

It is not just about cutting down on junk. It is about eating good quality slow grown fruit and vegitables. Genetically altered food may look bigger. It is not about the size, the growing time and quality count...

Like yu ma'am told you, eat your fruit and vegitables.

you should have to work for what you get....not expect it to be given to you.

Too funny, I just did.

Excess fat-soluble vitamins aren't always ok for some people. Large doses of minerals too. Water-soluble vitamins....who cares, we pee them out shortly after ingestion. Overall, taking low dose multis is probably ok if you don't eat a health, balanced diet to begin with.

I always need a reminder. Tend to do a lousy job taking care of myself. Need to get active in hubbub again and have healthier lifestyle!

Since claims aren't FDA approved, you have no clue what is really going on in that bottle. Most are worthless.

I take a lot of supplements, but not a multi. Most multi-vitamins are made from unnatural synthetic chemicals...not a good thing, IMO.

Not a multi-vitamin, but fish oil every day. I've had intense knee pain for most of my life (I'm only 20!) and since I've started taking the fish oil, my pain has gone away. I'm so grateful for it. Best thing ever invented.

I do. I don't eat that well. I can't due to my job, I'm almost never home, so to help me get the vitamins and minerals I need, I take one daily.

07/06/12 9:25 am

Only cause I can't get all my vitamins and minerals from food due to a surgery.

I get all I need with my 3500 calorie diet. Hard work in the off season is a successful season. A lot of vitamin C drink mixes, cereal provides a lot of nutrition too.

Yes. I'm not one to continuously make sure I'm eating the "right" foods. Make sure the Multi has no "fillers" or dyes, glazes, etc. Don't buy cheap or ones that taste great (there's reasons why they're cheap). Multis shouldn't taste very good. Whole foods multi is best for absorbing.

No, pretty much every study confirms taking a multivitamin is not beneficial (although also not harmful), and is just a way of pouring money (literarily) in the toilet. Some specific supplements are good, like vitamin D for people living in the north, but only if a test shows they're needed.
