If your city had a bus with wifi, usb plugs, and the ability to purchase juice and coffee, would you be more likely to ride public transportation instead of driving?

Public transportation has people in them. I don't do 'people'.

No way. I love being independent and being able to choose when I go, where I go, and how I go. If I want to blare my music I can!

I don't drive anyway, and I take public transportation without any of those perks. My city is hardly big enough to warrant juice & coffee service, though. I've been on buses with wifi (Cincinnati area) and it was pretty nice.

I like my car but that's not why I drive it. Commuting by public transportation takes to long. Plus, I can't talk to myself on public transportation.

I would if I lived in DC or New York, but around here, it just isn't a viable option.

Got no public transportation.

No I take the car because it's here, it goes when and where I need it to. It would take me less than 10 minutes to walk to the bus stop and it also stops right outside my work, but it doesn't run very often when I leave work. I cannot work like that.

The costs to have a car is minuscule compared to the convenience and freedom it offers.

Not many buses in suburbia and I have no reason to go to the city.

I used to ride the city bus in San Jose, ca quite a bit and it was a much more enjoyable experience than one would anticipate. City buses are, however, very inconvenient.

If my city had a bus... And assuming this magical bus ran often enough and stopped close enough to make it a reasonable option, I would use it sometimes, especially going into town where finding parking is a nuisance. No extra perks needed.

Unfortunately, I don't have that option with work, as I'm a delivery driver. I kinda have to drive my car.

It would make it more likely, but probably still wouldn't.

No, because that would mean the price of the fare would go up

ghettoπŸ˜” lifehack: u don't have to pay full fare or fare at all. You just have to embarrass yourself and tell the driver you only have a quarter or no money. Imo, LA metro fare is a rip off for me cuz I ride max less than 15 stops, not paying $1.75

...when all the buses run on natural gas. I can't afford to pay $1.75 all the anyway. πŸ˜’πŸ˜žπŸ’€

No. The bus doesn't go where I need it.

That's the biggest problem with public transportation where I live too.

I have to have my car for work, so I still couldn't. If that weren't the case, I would.

You bet! I wish I didn't even have car. The expense is terrible.

Oh and I don't care about wifi when I'm trying to get somewhere. I just want to get there. My wifi will still be waiting for me at home when I get back.

Maybe if my city bus showed up on time and every ten minutes.

I drive way too much. Public transportation just wouldn't be able to get me where I need to go. Feels like I spend more time commuting to work than actually working.
