Excluding the common response of "biased", what are your reasons for down voting a poll?
Hateful, double standard, and the big stretch to "link" totally unrelated things to make a negative point.
Poorly written, racist, sexist or no answer choice appropriate-
If there is a choice I will always choose the positive. Making an effort to be negative is a waste of time and effort that only promotes more negativity.
Ive never down voted anything. Im not a prick.
I think I've only done that once or twice and just for heavy bias.
I have only down voted for very biased polls.
I up vote 98% of the time, so I probably have to be extremely bothered by the question in order to vote it down.
Polls which are made to attack another user, obvious trolling, having only one option just worded differently, rants with no question or agree/disagree so they shouldn't be listed as polls, and of course biased polls are the most common reasons.
I don't down vote. If I did, it would be extreme bias, no answer choices, and stupid question.
I don't down vote biased polls. I only down vote polls that I have to read more than once to understand.
I upvote all polls.
Eb everything u touch turns to gold anyway. I wouldn't worry about petty down voting. It's beneath u
Thank you czar.
When some has the answer options as "yes" or "not yet" lol
Maybe if the polls asks several questions
When the person makes me call myself stupid or something similar as one of their choices.
Same here, and passive-aggressive wording
When there's no choice in the answers.
When someone gets "called out" or blatantly offends an individual in a poll.
Individual as in a user on here, its okay to call Obama or politicians out.
You should never down vote a poll. The person thought enough to poll that question to their followers so it probably meant something to them. Down voting is just going out of your way to be a díck. If you don't like it, don't vote. It's easier
I like this answer
Usually if there is an obvious bias.
I would like to say there seems to be one or two users who seem to down vote everything
Or if it is offensive, which doesn't happen often
The answers are very biased.
I downvote polls when the options are not mutually exclusive.
I was trying to form this answer when you did it for me.
I think some reasons listed may be helpful in how we all write polls.
I don't remember ever down voting a poll.
I think I've only down voted 1 poll. I up vote, if I don't like the poll I won't up or down vote
False information driving an agenda. Bad language unless it's a question about it. Polls attacking other users. Probably more reasons but I rarely have to use it.
Agree. I have also voted down if the question was so poorly written that I didn't understand what it was asking.
I have too but I often just try to clarify in the comments.
I rarely did it, and have not recently at all.
I generally don't vote anything up or down unless they're exceptionally good or bad.
You know it is one of the factors for the hotlist. Rating helps us get better polls.
I agree. If it's a really good question it deserves to be up voted so it can make the hot list.
