We took a drive. This afternoon I'm so blessed to live here. It's a feast for the eyes. Beauty everywhere one looks. How about where you live?
We currently have the Sandhills Cranes visiting in their spring migration. Awesome!!!
Different beauty here. Thanks for the pictures!
As for where I live, it's just far enough north of the city for there to be scenic nature-scapes, but I also love the sights and sounds of Manhattan. I actually find the city buzz to be almost relaxing.
I know a lot of people find it annoying because it's truly the city that never sleeps, but that constant-factor is actually somewhat comforting to me!
Took the Amtrak northeast regional yesterday to Boston and I had a beautiful mini-tour of New England! (I'm in Manchester visiting my best friend, he picked me up in Boston because the train doesn't come all the way up here.
Northeast Ohio in March is definitely NOT beautiful. Most of the snow is gone, but there are remnants all over - varying sizes of dirty, ugly snow piles. Trees are still bare. No flowers are in bloom yet. It WILL begin to get pretty in about a month.
Bloom where you are planted...In the desert we find beauty, it is way more subtle than the Oregon Coast. Way more....
I love the wide open spaces here in north Texas. Coming into wildflower season and it's about to get pretty!
Reservoirs, lakes, parks and I'm in the middle.
I believe nature is beautiful everywhere. There is no unattractive nature. Everywhere has it's beauty.
Snow has been melting slowly the past week, and from the all white landscape we've had for three months, it's great to see color! It's muddy, but bits of green have been emerging, the Robins, Canadian Geese, and red winged blackbirds are coming back
and it's like the first layers of a landscape painting are being brushed on the canvas. The next few months, color emerges everywhere, and I love watching the seasons change. It's why I love Michigan. We get it all, without landslides, earthquakes
or hurricanes! I can hardly wait to see all my tulips and daffodils emerge...planted 125 more bulbs last fall. Today I drove about 150 miles and observed the first signs of spring, and it was wonderful!
Tops, your photos are stunning!
Thank you so much.
It sounds absolutely lovely.
Today bad news, but nice day.
I'm so sorry you had bad news I hope things get better.
Too dry around here, but otherwise it's beautiful.
I love to South Dakota especially the Badlands.
Mud season is in bloom. The melting snow is ugly, but it will be beautiful again soon.
I live in the country. I hate having to go into slum town.
The western most point in the continental USA.
Pretty great on a cloudy day. Too bright when it's sunny. Lots of big trees and little (and a few big) mountains.
Lake Michigan is pretty cool 😁
Your pics were amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Agreed, those pictures are breathtaking!
Mostly very beautiful here.
Yes NJ is very pretty all year. There are lots of trees and farms and it is gorgeous in the fall. We have the best beaches.
Used to live in Marlton/Mt. Laurel area. A few short minutes in any direction you have farms, trees, etc. and yes, an hour to some great beaches!
Central Puget Sound features beauty just a short drive away in almost any direction.
I grew up on Phinney Ridge in Seattle.
I realize that not everyone likes the dessert, but I live in a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains. There are flowers blooming everywhere. I especially like the palo verde trees and ocotillos.
I loved seeing the mountains! It was amazing!
I'm so glad you liked it! We're going hiking this week so we can get a closer look at those mountains. :)
Have fun!! Take some pics! 😊
I'll be sure to!
Oh and be safe 😉
Will do, I wouldn't want to wake up a rattlesnake or anything. 😁
