Around 80% of people support placing term limits on Congress, yet no bill supporting it has any chance of passing either the House or the Senate. Does this, on its own, mean that the majority of Congressmen are serving their own interests?

Just like campaign funding reform, insider trading reform, and correcting the gaps that led to the Citizens United decision. They'll talk about them, but they won't do them. They love their country; they love their country's money more.

They have free a gym, free healthcare, wage raises when Americans had none, spending of extensive budgets while whining about the deficit and debt...

I think this is the one thing they have right. I think term limits are an especially bad idea.

Of course... just look at how many laws congress has passed while excluding themselves from those laws. I guess when you're the law makers, you can do that.
