Have you experienced temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit?
Nearly every day of the summer when I was living in Phoenix.
Our summers are 100°+ most of the time.
Phoenix Valley... 126 degrees
Yes. Colorado has wild temperature swings.
150-160 in Baghdad
I think 134 is the highest temp ever recoded. I've experienced close to this as well in Kuwait.
I'll post a pic of the site thermometer when I find the pics. I thought I had one on my phone but not so much.
I have a pic of a thermometer at 140 dF but it's in the direct sunlight on the tarmack..
Ours was on the construction site for the new embassy.
113* in eastern Washington
This year? Not yet. Ask again next week, and my answer might be different.
Las Vegas, the Mojave desert, and here in Silicon Valley.
I would think most of the country has. Even New England gets a few days every summer that hit over 100.
110 in El Salvador. I was dying when I was there.
It was between 117°-120° here for a whole week a few years back. I had to change a tire in a parking lot and the jack sank about three inches into the asphalt. But there's no snow to shovel!
127 in Baghdad. It was over 160 inside the porta john sitting in the sun.
Thank you for your service! 🇺🇸
No. I have seen people in our sauna exercising all bundled up. If they should collapse and someone might not find them for a while.
Well I'm Indian soo
+100 isn't that hard to come by, you should ask about +110
True. Even in Oregon we usually hit the century mark once every couple of years.
Yep, in Austin Tx where my dad lives. It was pretty brutal, id go out to get lunch and end up just drinking water haha
The wonderful Las Vegas, Nevada.
Every year in Texas, as well as consecutive days 100°+.
122 several times in Phoenix. It's not that bad though because there's no humidity.
I go to Arizona most years in the summer. This year I'm going at the end of March. The first time I went it felt like I was breathing in a furnace. I love it there though.
It's pretty nice!
I'm looking forward to it. I'm sooooo tired of the cold weather, and I'm taking my son to tombstone for the first time. I love it there and he loves history. Should be fun
Very cool! I still need to take my boys down there.
Hottest I've been in was 122 in Phoenix
The same year we did the week at -35 we had a week at 115. The heat was easily worse.
The hottest I've been in was 123 driving through Baker, CA many years ago. Of course, summer in the Phoenix area is nothing to sneeze at either.
Did you stop at the Thermometer?
No, I did not. There was a place across the road that wasn't as busy and still had clean bathrooms.
Las Vegas last year.
102 on my birthday a while back but been hotter than that here.
It hit 116° here like two or three summers ago.
Rarely happens here, but it does get that high sometimes.
Worse was 117 in Arizona. Felt like being under a hairdryer.
Cold Beer ! ; )
Not here, ever, but yes when living in Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas, plus every summer on the east (brown) side, plus a lot of places when traveling across the wastelands.
I live in texas yes. I've been in temps 109 degrees fahrenhight
Yes, we have a few each summer and I have done a lot of traveling during the summer to places that are really hot.
I answered yes to both, and both right her in Lubbock, Tx. There's a reason we have been voted to have the most extreme weather in the US.
Right up the road from me! We've had 122°.
The hottest I recall here is 114.
I believe the warmest I've ever been in was around 121°F a few summers back in Arizona.
Visiting Arizona. Id still rather have even this weather over that. And we had a mini blizzard yesterday. Record snowfall for the area and I just want spring.
I will take the AC and pool in 100+ than 32 or below Temps regularly and snow tgat has to be moved.
And we don't even get the moving snow! It's just gonna sit around until mid April ish.
I just meant snow you have to shovel
Very true, very true. It can be a good workout though!
Phoenix winter Is cold to me. Gives me sinus difficulties.
Yes every year
Once stuck in Pheonix with 110'F temperature. Flights were cancelled and stay in hotel pool for hours.
Usually every year, but we didn't get it last year.
Not yet this year, but probably soon
