You have two people up for a job and you're in charge of hiring them, everything down to their SAT score is the same but one feels the SAT is essentially a waste and the other believes in the SAT strongly, who do you hire?
The hot one.
One candidate is negative, one is positive. Hire the positive one.
Pretty sure the SAT doesn't matter for a job. At best, it arguably matters for school. Jobs just want to know you went to school, and didn't suck at it. The rest is experience and personality.
The SAT doesn't matter for the job*
No it doesn't but this is a different way of asking if people think the SAT is a waste or not.
The one with the better answer as to why they feel the way they do.
My impression would be we have a handson person vs a nerd, I prefer the nerd.
I never took it. I'm fine lol
Waste because if he ha believed in it his score would have been higher.
The SAT is like an IQ test. It gives you some idea of a person's relative intelligence, but it really doesn't say much else.
I would hire the guy who thinks it's fairly useless because that means he understands the importance of holistic thinking.
And he was willing to put in enough work to score as well as the guy who really cares.
