The EPA is funding a project at University of California to limit pollution from backyard barbecues. Good or bad idea? Details below in link:
What the hell? Next thing you know we won't be able to burp or fart outside!! Get real people!! Get a real concern!
Give me brisket, or give me death.
It's good for pollution reduction, but how can they live without barbecue?
Grills probably cause less than .01% of emissions.
Ugh. I need to share this with my husband. We love grilling and BBQing. Perfect.
bbq pollution? how bout we focus on other problems
Geez. Talk about government overreach!
Americans and their bbq, separation would start a anarchist movement, let's just all become vegetarians and be happy about life
What about my grilled peppers and onions?
Grill them indoors with an electric counter top grill
Your government at work, wasting your money.
bsolutely freakin' unbelievable!
Meanwhile China, the worlds biggest carbon emitter, is doing what?
Oh that's right.. nothing.
BBQing dogs? 😁
How many Al Gore carbon jet credits do you need to BBQ a chicken?
Next! Outlaw BBQ's. Thank's Obama.
You know the country is going down the shitter when they go after our bbqs. BBQs are a sign of freedom.
Seems like a waste of time, at best. Are there really enough propane grills on the whole planet, each used probably less than an hour, average, a day, to actually be a "pollution" issue? I didn't think so.
Not surprised this took place in California
We can't use a wood burning fireplace on certain days and now grilling may be going away.
These people are off their rockers nuts!
You love him in Cali!
I live in a republican area in SoCal....so, no love here.
You lucky dog.
It's a stealth attack on fourth of July celebrations. 😆
Yeah. Let's require barbecues to use Diesel Exhaust Fluid.
EPA trying to regulate diesels is hilarious. I didn't buy a damn 3/4 or 1 ton truck to save the environment.
I love when the government wants to come into my backyard.
Depends, which UC? Kidding. Mostly.
Yes, I think it could be an informative study.
Sure, it's worth testing an invention that could limit emissions.
I am not sure this could be regulated but it wouldn't be a bad idea for companies to implement these measures into their designs.
California is run by socialist morons.
You are completely right.
Yet they want the rest of us to save them when they go down.
Next step for Commiefornia, make grilling illegal.
I can't support a law that is nearly impossible to regulate. Pollution from BBQs happen in the privacy of one's own home and unless police have a warrant, they won't be able to fine individuals for violating such a law.
Furthermore, emissions from BBQs are a small drop in the ocean when it comes to pollution that harms the environment. We need to allocate our legislative resources more effectively to cap emissions where it matters most.
It's not a law, it's a research project.
Ah, I misread.
I think a lot of people did.
Is their anything else California can waste our tax dollars on?
Uh oh, they've awakened the big $$$ BBQ PAC.
Maybe that level 7 earthquake would actually save money in the long run. I wonder if they would cover a study on that?
