I went out to the bar and spent $25 on pull tabs and won $1000! Do you like playing pull tabs?

That's the great part! In MN if there's a serial they scan your DL, but it was here in WI where they just pay no ID needed.

Not yet, but it's on my "to do" list this summer now that I've got a great paying job.

Congratulations Rick!
I've never played pull tabs. I don't even recall seeing it here. I'm happy for your win. :)

What are pull tabs?

Legal bar gambling. Little cards you pull strips off of to see if you won. Usually $1 or $2, but some are up to $5 per ticket. The proceeds usually go to local charities like the Lions club.

I have never heard of them before, but congrats on the money!

We don't have those and I've never heard of them... Like lotto, supporting schools?

I would do that but I've not been to a bar that does that. I haven't heard of it. It sounds cool though.

They're fairly easy to win. Usually they have multiple boxes of little tickets that cost $1-$5 each. There's also a chart showing how many winners of each denomination are left. So pick the box with the least amount left and the most winners.

A bunch of friends and I would hang out at VFW's and each put in $20. We'd just keep winning and winning.

I used to play with my grandma, I haven't since she passed. They are a good time killer :)
