Given the opportunity to repeal the Constitution of the United States of America - in total - abolish our historical free market Republic replacing with some form of European Socialism &/or some form of Monarchy, my vote would be...
I'd rework it. It needs to be reworded. And I'd fix it so Congress can be downsized
Fuck no...no matter what Obama thinks!
Many one saying yes needs to leave the country, I'll buy your ticket.
You haven't been paying attention. You still blurt out "love it er leave it! Tony Keith! Bud Weiser! NASCAR!" Come on man both parties have ruined this country, it isn't free anymore. It's over.
I'd be physically resisting at that point or fleeing. That would be horrible.
Why wait? 😊
No to the monarchy, maybe to the more socialist, or at least much more effectively regulated capitalist economy, retaining a republic as the form of governance.
We can provide an equal system without destroying our constitutional republic.
The Dems show what they are about here.
With a small minority of 18%.
I have a better idea! Let's start actually following the Constitution.
^^^ this ^^^
I would filibuster that effort until I disintegrated.
"Historical free market" lmfao.
Democracy is the best government. I disagree that kings and queens are appointed and not elected because of how much chaos they can inflict with the power of a country.
Democracy is no more than mob rule! The constitution is the best form of government ever invented.
Ajnt I agree, democracy and constitution are very similar.
Unless by constitution you mean martial law or monarchy, because I only believe in government where people hold power.
Those who said Yes ... please leave now. I am disgusted.
21% of dems....seriously???!?!?
It's 15% out of 19 Democratic voters. That's a total of 3 people. Not meaningful, for this small sample size.
Let's not become the terrible mess that is Europe.
Europe is one of the best continents in the world. I am starting to dislike the United States due to how uncultured we can be. But Europe is so historic and interesting compared to North America.
I love US history, but frankly history doesn't matter to me when determining where I live. I care about now.
The history and culture have nothing to do with the political system or the quality of life that stems from that system.
I don't care, I'm trying to say that Europe isn't in a mess. America is, and it's not financial.
To me, the US is one of the most financially stable with a relatively strong work ethic. While the EU is drowning in debt and the more liberal and socialists economies of Europe have high employment and taxes.
To me, the U.S. is very boring. I don't like our war history and we aren't very cultural anymore.
Then I hope you can one day move to your desired country.
Er, ah, Europe is in a big mess. Financially. Politically. Religiously. Uneven freedoms. Strange court systems. No thanks.
Having cool architecture and nice paintings doesn't mean their systems of governance are effective or worth worshipping.
Leave, go to Europe and never come back. Nobody likes Rhode Islanders and you guys can't drive worth sh*t!
Havok, you little shit, why don't you go to hell and never come back. How's that?
You are the only one that has such a problem with this hell hole that is America so I think he should stay right where he is and you should be the one to go to your European paradise. Your arguments are ridiculous and have nothing to do
With this poll or anything being discussed. I'm done. You can't argue with stupid.
Simply joyful if you shut the hell up and stop talking to me, I won't argue about this annoying country
By the way, I only argued about this country because I have an opinion. I like Europe because I like traveling. I find America not as fun to travel in. That's all.
Guys why is this a big deal? If you like Europe than you like Europe. If you like America than you like America. It's not a big deal.
It isn't. I'm not some america obsessed redneck who thinks there isn't anything beyond our borders. My point is this person isn't even discussing the topic and is telling others to go to hell.
That's my point, I like Europe.
ThePollTaker you're such a f*g clearly your name is a double meaning unless you spelled "pole" wrong. 😂
Havok, that is the worst gay joke I've heard all my life.
I quite like our system. I wish i had more power than the rest of you though.
The people who said yes should be tried for conspiracy to commit treason or deported.
blah. imagining something better/different is not a crime.
Thinking about overthrowing a government is conspiracy to commit treason.
Thinking about anything is not a crime. Plotting? sure. Thinking? not a chance.
Talking about voting for something is plotting not thinking.
Ironically enough, the first amendment gives you every right to talk about repealing it, short of actually doing so.
Go talk about killing someone and see if you get charged or not.
A death threat and an outlandish opinion are two totally different things. One is saying that you plan to commit a violent act, the other is just stupid but not treason unless you act on it.
The treasonist would be whoever put this to a vote in the first place.
Naterade, are you familiar with the First Anendment?
Yes I am very familiar with it but lawyers, cops and politicians no longer believe in freedom of speech.
But, here, *you* are the one recommending they "should be tried for conspiracy to commit treason and deported."
No. Although not perfect, the system our founding fathers created made us the most powerful nation on earth in such a short period of time, why change that?
But why abolish it then? How about vote to get it back to what it was. Get rid if the career politician and put it back to the people.
Universal suffrage came about through the system of change that the Founders built into the document. So they anticipated even some of their own views having to change one day.
Hell no! Shared
No, does this mean we can get rid of Obama ?
No. Bad idea.
No with a rifle in hand!
A Yes vote would be insane.
Aww, hell no!!!
Would love a broader response... would be honored if anyone feels inclined to share poll.
