The cyclone that his Vanuatu yesterday is the second worst ever after the one that hit the Philippines a few years ago. Do you believe all this extreme weather is climate change or because the US legalized gay marriage and that made God mad?
I don't believe in the Christian god but I'm open to the possibility that it could be both answers, you know? Keep your mind open cuz there's really no way of being absolutely certain..
It's not just the SIN of Homosexuality. It also includes fornication, adultery, and the other 9 Commandments that the world has ignored. It will not get better, only worse.
I think douchebag is exclusively a Liberal title.
Fortunately I'm not among the mass groupthink idiocy that perpetuates its failures, by worshiping fraudulent leaders and clinging to false premises and propaganda.
And I do see that you are not among those. Sadly, it seems that you are among the masses that repeat the Anne couple lines. I'm glad you're able to rise above the fray.
Here's what we do know for certain. Everyone dies. Some younger than others. One can not live in denial of that fact. You can however argue that you will not be held accountable for your SIN. Your eternity may not turn out how you expected it.
Im not sure how Christianity managed to convince people that we are all immortal. I kind of see this as being a more difficult concept to swallow than the god concept. I agree with you about the death part, its innevitable. Immortality though...
I guess so...but in order to have faith in a belief it needs to be at least a somewhat convincing concept. Its not that I disbelieve it, its that it actually doesnt make much sense to me.
Why say you believe if you cant wrap your mind around it?
This is probably from the influence that eastern cults like Eleusis had on early Christianity. Outsiders and initiates could not understand the higher levels until it was revealed to them, like a secret society thing. You believe and climb the ranks.
I'm not denying climate change, I've spent extensive time in the Arctic Circle and seen it first hand. I am tired of every weather anomaly being attributed to it. It seems like a form of extortion bordering on religion.
I always find it so funny when people blame the weather on god being mad that we did or didn't do something. (Maybe it's just a southern thing, but I hear it a lot.)
I've heard several theories. The tornadoes are said to always miss my city because we have an arsenal and the U.S. Protects Israel so they won't hit a military city.
Comments like that drive me batty.
Also saw a thread recently from a 19 week pregnant woman who's water broke. Chances are she'll lose her daughter. Yet everyone saying God is good bc her contractions stopped.
He'd be better if her water hadn't broke
