Have you ever heard of a rattlesnake roundup? Link to the worlds largest that is going on this weekend.
Yes, attended the Opp, Alabama Rattlesnake Rodeo several times. It includes a Craft Show, Food Vendors, and Kids Games, etc.
This one is similar. Has a carnival, gun & knife show, guided rattlesnake hunts.

Sweetwater! Just down I-20 past Big Spring. Never been to the (shudder) roundup, though.
I've lived around 100 miles or less away my whole life and I've never been either. But I have helped cousins look for snakes to catch and take there.
My pastor is there this weekend!
