Should people with emphysema get a handicapped tag when it was caused by smoking tobacco?
Should people who lost their feet/legs to diabetes get one when they couldn't manage their sugar?
Should people who got stage 4 cancer from drinking get one?

When I was almost -morbidly -obese, I was walking around stores no problem. Why can't they?

Why isn't there a "Fuck no!" button?

Yes. Though at first this concept seems ridiculous, as a nurse a premed student I can tell you that many other handicaps and diseases are a result of one's poor lifestyle and dietary habits. Not all, of course, but many.

Hell no. Fat bastards need all the exercise they can get!

I don't think it should be. I never understood why it's so easy to get a handicap permit. Many would benefit from walking a little.

Obesity is not a reason for a handicapped parking permit in Florida.

Should people who sustain a broken leg through their own careless choices be eligible for handicap parking permits?

Broken leg = almost impossible to walk. Being fat = possible to walk and they should be walking more.

Morbidly obese I'm thinking is four bills or more.

No way. Walking would be good for them. They need as much exercise as they can get.

Or we can then a reserved parking spot for a gym or a salad bar.

Give them big parking spaces, at the back of the lot.

lol Arkansas. That'll motivate them to stop being fat.

Sure, why not? I'm not going to begrudge people a parking spot even if they got themselves there. What do I care?

03/13/15 1:35 pm

No. Do something about it! I lost and kept off 150 pounds after having gastric bypass surgery 12 years ago. Even at my biggest, I never would have expected a handicapped parking space.

Inspired by the rotund patrons of Walmart, the obese people in their 30s and 40s who park close and use scooters to get around the store.

We have them here too. One day I saw two women each their own scooter, one called the other mom, I don't think she was 30. Disgusting.
