As a whole, do you think society is (a) being too rude/tactless/not caring when it comes to offending others or (b) are people too easily offended?
People on the whole seem WAY too easily offended. If something wasn't said or done deliberately with the intent to offend you personally, and if you aren't captive or it is on a device that has an off button, you probably shouldn't be offended.
B. We live in an era where the mere presence of certain people, opinions/beliefs/ideologies, words & statements regardless of context ALL can offend certain ppl w/o it even intending to.
Ppl today look to be offended & are quick to feign outrage.
I think it's more A. Being polite and caring about the feelings of others seems to be less and less important to people.
