Learning about historical figures is like pancake eating. Some butter (+/neutral facts) is good, just as some syrup (negative facts) is good. Too much syrup, and the pancake is soggy. Too much butter, and you have a slip and slide for solid toppings.

Syrup is never negative.

Did you come up with this yourself? I think you've posted something like this in the past

All facts are important, especially the negative ones. No sense in omitting certain facts for fear of an information overload (generally speaking, anyway).

Watchu got against syrup to make it the negative facts; what did syrup ever do to you?!

Waffles, man. The pockets hold the syrup and butter without sliding, offering a far superior experience. And as an analogy, it really doesn't work. No amount of facts, positive or negative as long as they are facts, is ever too much.

Except I like a lot of both on pancakes.

Disagree because right now I like them drowned in both. And filled with chocolate chips. Mmmm.

Completely disagree. I like waffles better, and i put jelly/jam on them.

Disagree because I like pancakes with gobs of butter and very little syrup.

What do the toppings represent?
My guess is scandals.

I was using those to finish the point more than anything else, but probably the best application of them would be as historical myth used to make.Someone look better than they were just for the sake of them looking better

I prefer to eat the pancake that's on fire! (Wars and conflicts). Other than that, I somewhat agree with your statement. I prefer to get all the facts, POVs, etc., but if one only looks at one side, he or she may possibly miss something important.

I'd like ALL the facts, although it would mean indigestion.
