If someone "prayed for you" ( not in a condescending manner) and parlayed to their gods/goddesses that weren't yours, would you have a positive reaction or negative reaction?

Positive, I guess. The act of prayer has no meaning for me, but the kind intentions of other certainly does.

Exactly. Whether one believes that the prayer will work or not, it's still a positive, caring act.

If it was genuine I'd be honored. I understand the significance of such a gesture to the person praying regardless of whether or not I believe in their God(s). Atheist anthropologist in the hood being all understanding.

If it isn't meant condescendingly, I don't care. In cases where it is, I do.

I think it shows caring and concern. I wouldn't have a negative reaction.
