A zoo messed up on a giraffe order. So many giraffes... Should they legally be able to release a giraffe in the Lion's den
No. That's no different than feeding a dog or cat to the lions. Some animals need to eat live and that's fine, but in a controlled environment you are just doing it for your own amusement. To me that's a little messed up.
The prisoner has an reasonable expectation of protection.
It would be like throwing a childmolester into a yard full of lifers and ringing the dinner bell.
Of course that would be more fun to watch than the poor girrafe.
Very not cool but I suppose they have the right. Just because we have the right to do something does not necessarily mean we should do that thing.
It would be better over all to kill and butcher it to give to the lions. For many reasons.
Sure. Sell tickets, make it a zoo fundraiser.
Lol, with the pitch "help us buy more giraffes"
Once they are taken from the wild or bred in captivity you are responsible for their well being and safety.
Sure, circle of life. Let's see it in action!
I'm not sure zoo lions would eat live critters anyway. And can you really ever have too many giraffes?
No. They should send the excess giraffes to the wild animal sanctuary near where I live.
I hope they'd have space for them... They've just taken on a very large number of lions, themselves.
Why can't they put them up for sale, there has to be zoo's that need a few!
