Funny how if the debater is calm and laid back like Obama then he's considered the looser. But when he's in your face he needs to calm down. Dammed if you do dammed of you don't it seems... Ryan is sharp but he was out of his league.

Biden showed disrespect, desperation, he was rudebsnd inconsiderate..laughing, smirking, stupid noises, at all serious issues..even that bitch running in was allowing this and also cutting Ryan off..They showed lack of character and was very unprofessional, thats just the way the democratic party is

Biden was interrupting Ryan when he didn't like or agreed what he said, he also interrupted the moderator, he giggled like a idiot when Ryan talked. He looked like a bigger fool than he already is

BriD how about an original thought and not a juvenile reply to someone's opinion

He had to interrupt, because he didn't want everyone to hear what Ryan had to say. He should be embarrassed by his behavior.

Let me add that I said DURING the debate that his demeanor was going to overshadow his performance. Sure enough, it did...

I honestly cannot stand so many of us living in a lie, we NEED to pick good leaders not defend bad ones. Maybe Hilary wouldve been a better choice. Hilary Obama ticket would've been great especially if Barack was the VP he would've gained tons of experience & maybe we wouldve been better today.

Again we see the amateur admin blow another one, Biden really could've done the campaign a big service and stop the bleeding, but NOO we got a weird old man, if he didn't act like such a creep he would have won hands down. Stop the excuses! We NEED to learn from our mistakes not pretend it went well

10/12/12 11:36 am

No. He's just disgusted with Ryan & Romney's "untruths" w.the facts (aka blatant lies)! I am as well.

BriD Illinois
10/12/12 11:33 am

No, that would be Romney all the way (Ryan, as well)!!

Early numbers show about half the viewers as the '08 VP debate. They suspect people turned it off. I know I did.

He seemed pretty badass and open to me. It made Ryan seem cold and phony. Can't say I agree with his points but I liked his demeanor.

He did do a better job than Obama. But all the laughing was very unbecoming of a Vice President of The United States! This isn't a joke!

I found Biden's demeanor endearing, though I could see why conservatives would see it as condescending. Overall, he didn't lose anybody that was gonna vote for Romney anyway.

Biden set out to not be as passive as Obama and went way overboard with it. I think it totally overshadowed his arguments and it's all I hear being talked about on the news this morning. So much for age and wisdom... Biden came off like a petulant little kid.

Biden's constant smug wide-open grinning wore me out in the first 10 minutes. Such a distraction from the message. Perhaps 'inside' polling tells him that's what "The American People" want. Not this American. Regardless of party, I appreciated Ryan's calm, steady, composed demeanor throughout.

He wouldn't need to interrupt so much if Ryan didn't take 2/3 of the time.

Kimbo, Biden did not get "whooped". Nobody did. Recognize your own bias and look at it subjectively. If you can't do that, look at numerous polls to determine who got "whooped". Hint (nobody did). I'm not "chill" dude because I'm witnessing one of my favorite apps lose legitimacy.

The only reason Catholic or religious organizations might not have to pay for the birth control/contraception as stated in ObamaCare may be because those institutions are suing the Obama Administration.

Some people, especially politicians, have an easier time of lying to people's faces. Biden is definitely one of them because he said "Catholic institutions will not be forced to pay for birth control." LIE. "We did not know of their request for more backup." LIE. It was, factually, REQUEST DENIED.

Haha! Well, there is a contrast between how Romney took down Obama and how Biden attempted to take down Ryan. Romney was passionately charged and stated FACTS, while Biden was emotionally (not passionately) charged and gave falsified "facts". Romney was respectful, Biden was not.

Too many people choose Style over Substance. Biden may not be as polished, but he comes across as more relatable. Actions speak louder than buzz words that rile the base.
