@bboy792 Yep. I've found around here some Hispanics from Mexico (as if I know whether or not they have permission to be here) who own shops and such and are doing pretty well, same with some Russians etc. So, if you have the will, you can be successful anywhere in the UNIVERSE!.

I would because if u just put time into learning the language u could easily catch on and live a successful life if u are smart and good at what u do

@LibsH8USA Well, not quite "not interacting", but I'm not going to be pulling (often) at you for spooning the soup, that's what I intended by my last comment on this thread.

I've worked in two non-English speaking countries and they have both been amazing experiences. I'd honestly recommend it if you get the chance.

FIAT: I understand and respect your decision. I am sorry to hear we won't be interacting on this app.

@LibsH8USA Well, if you wish to be the spoon, then whatever, I guess I'll just leave you alone (I haven't nor will ignore anyone though, which includes you).

FIAT: if we don't stir the pot, the soup will separate and become unpalatable. Trolling, as you kids call it, serves a purpose. We used to call it 'talking shit'. It's fun.

interesting how more democrats would leave the country if the money was right. sounds like all those evil corporations they rail against all the time.

@LibsH8USA, @Jessie74's latest comment is a little more of an example of a trolling comment, but remember that it's the spirit of the comment, not the letter of the comment that makes a comment qualify as trolling.

at my company being offered an expat assignment is a sign of promotability. it is looked upon as an opportunity to get a broad experience of the corp iChat is needed for leadership positions.

Been there done that and it had nothing to do with money. What an experience! You find ways to communicate. First big challenge was grocery shopping; is this soap for dishes, clothes, bath? Fun! Opportunity to experience another culture. Priceless.

@jamesjelly you think Ohio is boring? Lol I drove through Pennsylvania and all I saw was trees and guardrails haha

@LibsH8USA Trolling is the act of being a troll. In other words saying blatant things that stir up other people and get them fighting (or could). It is not illegal, but should you want very few folks ignoring you, it's best to not be a troll (an example of one was the famed Vangaurde).

Feel like some think if someone says yes means they hate the US. Love it here, not Rooted here though.

@Jessie74 Wow, did you drive by a sewage plant?
I've driven through (as well as stayed) many times and would say that Ohio is actually a rather reasonable state. Of course North Carolina and Hawaii are still my favorites…
