Show of Hands

Bob is trying to cross the road. His girlfriend Lucy is the shotgun rider. Bob can't see around Lucy's head to make sure the road is clear. Lucy says it is clear. Bob asks to see for himself. Is this a sign that Bob doesn't trust Lucy?
